| With the Fullback spot a straight fight between Micky Withers and Stuart Spruce I thought we'd get cracking on the wingers positions.
There has been some great past heros in the Red, Amber and Black. There are two positions here so I've given you 3 votes.

| For me, there is only two choices.... Lesley Vainakolo and Tevita Vaikona. Both were immense and I dream of the days we had such a formidable wing combination.
My wildcard choice would be Jon Scales. He is the reason I still wear my polo shirts with a pop collar. He was the first of the powerhouse wingers and scored some very important tries.

| I went for:
Big Les - this one is a no-brainer. He should win outright.
TV - absolute beast of a winger. Only time I can remember him being 2nd best in a match was when Calderwood kept Cumberland throwing him. Scored plenty, saved plenty and made a ton of metres.
Scales - may not have been the best defending winger ever but he could bloody score them. Him and Loughlin were brutes.

| Easy selection - Volcano and TV.
Might just put this out there..... I would probably say that these 2 wingers would probably be the best of the Super League era. With maybe Ryan Hall coming close to standing on the same level?

| I've gone with the obvious 2 and Leon as my 3rd.. Only because I remember him scoring a length of the field try at warrington in 99' and I said to my nan "he is very quick" to which nan replied "so he should be with legs up to his armpits" i was in stitches!! I was 11 years old mind

| Les Vainikolo - no-brainer !!!
TV - also 1 of the all time bulls greats (certainly in my era, the last 20 yrs)
3rd choice is a toss up between Leon, Bai n Ainy. Ive gone for Leon for his ability n being able to bring his ball-handling skills to the position where he shouldnt have been playing anyway

| Tevita Vaikona & Lesley Vainakolo for the same reasons as previously stated.
And Shaun Ainscough, may not of been the best and had his flaws, but for someone who was from Wigan he seemed to bleed Red Amber & Black.

| Not too hard really Les & TV the V bombers, definately the best pair of widemen in the modern era. Third for me would be Marcus Bai another winger who never shirked the hard graft as well as being a great finisher.

Tupou
Surprised that Semi isn't pushing for the 3rd spot behind Les and TV. Still our highest scoring winger since Lesley left (I believe).

| This will be done before the Fullback vote: same as nearly everybody else, TV and Big Les - in any order.

| It's an easy choice this one - Vaikona and Vainakolo by the proverbial country mile
What's interesting, when you see the whole list, is just how many absolute donkeys we've had on the wing during our SL era. No names, no pack drill - but surely you can see what I mean?

| Mackay and Bai both gave you good service, albeit at the end of their careers. I would have happily kept both on at Leeds.
Scales, Cook and Pratt on the other hand... I suppose they all got to enjoy scoring tries against us, before disappearing into obscurity pretty quickly. Pratt may have been unlucky with injury though IIRC?
