Huddersfield have decided to let go of a few players! David Fa'alogo and Scott Moore inpiticular who i think would add something to our bare bones squad? I personally think disko's time is nearly up so scott moore would fit in there and well Fa'alogo is just a battering ram (WHEN FIT). Both players come with big risks and maybe we wont even have the quota spot but im wondering what everyone thinks?

when disko does hang up his boots then surely o'brien should get first shot? and dont think we'll have a quota spot free for fa'alogo

When Diskin retires I expect O'Brien to come up and fill the bench spot. We don't need Fa'alogo. Maybe 2-3 years ago. Not now. Past it and we have better.

We have better then Fa'alongo? Who? Just because someone has had bad injuries doesnt mean you can count them as past there best (If people did that then most of our squad would be past its best). Forgot about Obrien i hope he gets a chance this year

Second row is the least of our worries. Assuming we're keeping Nas we need a minimum of 3 props and possibly 4. God knows from where!

Think he signed a 5yr extension this year.Not the type of player we're likely to be signing this yr anyway as he'll be towards upper end of pay scale and, despite some comments to the contrary which were made before amount of withheld sky money was revealed, we aren't going to be spending the full cap this year at least. We're going to be looking at getting as much bang for our money as possible this year just to give us some squad depth. Big signings will have to wait a year or two till finances are stable and we're getting full sky money again.

On the overseas quota we're already needing to decide between Nas and Jarrod Sammut (or losing an already signed overseas player) so it's pointless bringing Fa'alongo into an already muddy situation, to be honest.

I would think most if not all of us would be happy with a team of grafters next year, I agree mat eventhough they said they would be spending the full cap they must have some cuts somewhere so we may be signing lower pay scale players or promoting a few youngsters.

Would be great if we could sign a Hudds first teamer though

I once had the pleasure of spending the evening with big Eorl at a local Chinese restaurant we were discussing my days many years previous as a professional wrestler over in America . We finally got round to chewing fat over rugby league and Eorl was very adamant that he was going to be a one club man . So I fear any ideas he could be lured away , especially given Bradfords current situation are very misguided. A fine figure of a man and very generous he insisted I slip out the back door whilst he paid for our meal!
