www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/s ... _stronger/
Nice article. Strong case to say he's been our best winger this season. Instead of looking at what he doesn't do I think it's time we looked at what he does well.
Reads the game well and always in position - never over runs his centre
Good in the air
Rarely makes mistakes and always takes his chances
Good passer

| Karl Pryce has had a standout year for us. One or two occasions he's been more the old Karl Pryce, but overall I think he's done great. Certainly better than I was expecting. The time he was thrown in at emergency fullback was in particular a fine performance. Apart from the odd Pryce moment - like the forward pass at Headingley instead of just going for the line - he has impressed me.

| I'd like to see Karl given an extended run playing at Centre (by extended i mean the remaining games and play offs should we make the
He clearly favours this position and given his performance at Huddersfield he looks the part.

| Karl has been Ok, I don't know why people knock him so much. He was always a centre when he was younger rather than a winger, but he's done well on the wing; good in the air, good passer, doesn't get caught out of position much and makes few errors.
For sure, he's not the fastest threequarter on the books and he's not going to go the full length, nor is he the quickest turner when the ball is kicked behind him but he started off as OK and he's got better imo. I hope we can retain him.

| we have a habit of making players scapegoats and pryce is a good example of this. im kind of happy with his appearances/tries/input etc for a player seen as a punt, on a 1 year deal, and not on big money

| There's more chance of me buying George Osbourne a pint in the FC than me believing he is anything but a waste of talent.

I guess so. In terms of tries, minutes played, errors, positions played I'd put him ahead of Ainy, Crookes, Kear.
Been a really good signing.

I don't think George Osbourne would ever be that desperate! but your good friend George Galloway I'd believe that!

Got a rugby brain too. Can't believe how many people criticise Karl. Ainscough gets lots of plaudits but his one on one defence is woeful at times.

| I don't tihnk anyone has knocked his talent or hs ability to socre tries, but theres games where i haven't noticed him playing because he doesn't get involved.
The modern day winger normally has to take the ball in once every set, Karl does it twice a game. Plus for his size, it should be taking 3+ men to tackle him every time he gets the ball. Imagine how much that could help a team, but he hardly makes a tackle bust, he goes down too easily.
BUT last week was like watching a different player, maybe moving him to the centre is a master stroke as he is more involved than been stuck on the wing. Thats they Karl Pryce i want to see and will applaud.

that would mean hes on 100k a year. Can't see us spending 1/16th of salary cap on a player signed as backup
If you want to make stuff up at least try and make it semi-believeable. 1/10
