Onya, Medders. Massive contribution in 91-92, would have been dead and buried then if we'd gone down. Tries against Wigan in 96 and against Leeds in the 97 semi were each incredible moments in the club's history. Adieu.

Potentially one of the best players of his generation, with phenomenal pace & power, who never fully relaised his potential when younger IMO. IIRC Reilly got rid of him because he didn't consider him mentally tough enough, so it will be interesting to see how he handles first grade management. Has certainly worked with some good coaches.

Always a shame when long serving people are the victims of times like these, though maybe he had first team coaching ambitions of his own that this will help him realise?
