I am a leeds fan who hopes that the finacial problems you are going through can be sorted and some way can be foud to keep bulls in SL without bending the rules.

However if the club were to be liquidated what are the likely outcomes for the future of RL in bradford?

a new club in the championship?
a new club in championship 1/2?
merge with halifax?

One of first two I'd imagine. Third option is never going to happen.

If either happens though can it possibly be at Odsal? Costs vs income in those leagues must surely make in a non-viable option.

Figure ive heard for odsal is 7k although Im not sure if that is per month or per game. Thats maybe unrealistic on 3-4k crowds. so would imagine we'd either decamp to horsfall or RFL would allow a smaller rent whilst in championship. Their better getting some rent in than nothing at all after all.

Whats been getting at me is if we do go into Champ 1 and can't stay at Odsal (with no right or chance of return) then it would make getting back into SL that much more difficult - meeting the stadium requirements for entry etc. Various posts saying "oh just drop a division, sort yourselves out and come back" seem overly optomistic!

thats what I've said all along. IF they brought back P+R and we had a chance to bounce straight back, then the younger players might be prepared to stick with us for a year in championship and we could come back into SL in 2014. But if we had to go down to Championship for two years (or even 5 as me may not qualify to apply for a license in 2014) then we'd lose all the youth weve spent last five years bringing through (as quite rightly they'd want to play at SL level) and have to start from scratch. Coming on top of last few years of downwards spiral think it would be final stroke for a lot of fans and we'd never get back up.

it also doesnt matter because they couldnt pay them enough to make them stay, the SC in the lower leagues would make it impossible.

its also a good job it doesnt matter because relegating Bradford on the basis they werent financially viable, then putting them in a system which doesnt check their financial viability but rather encourages them to spend on players rather than the clearly much more needed investment on infrastructure in the hope of promotion with no protection once promoted leading again to a vicious cycle where Bradford dont have the space to invest in infrastructure but must now, again, spend on players to avoid relegation sounds like probably the most retarded plan Bradford could possibly have.

If you sat down and actually tried to think of a plan that is as stupid and idiotic as you possibly can think of, it would probably be to put Bradford in the championship and tell them to hang on to their youngsters and chase promotion at the first opportunity.

Why would Bradford want or need a merger with Fax, the RFL will prob pay the wage bill to keep them going.

Bradford will NOT be allowed to fail , (just like the Financial Banks), .... For the RL, Bradford are "TOO BIG TO FAIL". The RL will continue to pay the wages , as they bought their ground, and will give them eternal life in Super League !...

Not sure about the 'financial' banks. Is there another sort? However, to correct you, the RFL didn't buy the ground they bought a lease to the ground, which isn't quite the same thing but, hey ho why let the facts get in the way of a good rant. Incidentally, the RFL haven't (to the best of my knowledge) "paid the wages" - what they have done is advance payments due under the TV contract, so it was the Bull's money just paid a bit early.

But yeah, as you say it's "your right", and you've used it.
