| Is it me or is the guy losing the plot.
He constantly talks complete pish, is one of the most biased individuals commenting on the game and seems to want to goade Eddie Hemmings into a fight/argument every 10 minutes.
I know people complain about Stevo, but for me the weak link is the pie eater in the middle!!!

| Bulls defend 5-6 solid minutes in their own 20: "Crusaders lacking ideas, creativity, too many errors, etc."
Sammut scores from first receiver (admittedly following some poor tackling) late on in the game: "Bulls let him coast through 3 tacklers, what a load of rubbish, they need to do better, etc."
In many respects he should be the best they've got (although Brian Carney is getting much much better IMO) but he more and more sounds like a single minded, inconsistent, tunnel vision, Stevo in waiting.

| As I said on Twitter earlier, Clarke spent the entire game slagging off both sides. I'd happily put money on the fact that he won't be doing that tomorrow night.

| I know he has the best interests at heart when commentating but I find it frustrating the amount of times he explains the basic rules to audience during a game. Fair enough there may be a small percentage of people that do not understand what is going on but Jesus Christ it's tedious when he does it during every live Sky game.
Tonight he was farcical in places. OK his beloved Wigan are playing in the greatest game between the best 2 sides in the sport but there is no need to be a condescending pr!ck about it.
Brian Carney is doing a really good job as is John Wells. I'd prefer to see more ex/retired players move into broadcasting. Maybe then we could get rid of the deadwood that currently present on Sky.

| Well he seemed to be determined to find fault with any points Bradford scored. But tbh, I've never thought he was much cop

| He's terrible. I spent half of last nights game shouting abuse at him and his mindless gibbering. Every Bulls try he was basically claiming should have been disallowed as we'd cheated in some way - a Platt knock on, a player impeding one of their players for Ainscough's try... He seems to have a massive chip on his shoulder.
He seems to have gone from being unable to do anything other than quote stats to questioning and criticising everything and it's bloody annoying. Sky need to have a think about how they're going to take their coverage forward as it seems to be getting into as big a rut as the Beeb.

| I thought it was pretty funny when he was still banging on about the phantom Platt "knock-on" and asked Eddie if he agreed, Eddie cut it off stone dead with a perfectly timed deadpan "No", Clarkey was speechless for about 5 minutes

I sort of got the idea that Clarke was a total twerp a couple of years ago when he came out with the statement thatwe shouldn't allow the fact that the ball was passed forwards to detract from what was a wonderful try[/i". It was Wigan who scored, IIRC. You just couldn't make this stuff up.
