| Well for one it's not just about what I've seen tonight which I can categorically say has been the worst Bradford Bulls performance since that first game back in March 1996 when we beat Castleford by 30-12 in front of over 10,000 supporters at Odsal.
The truth is and however painful it may be, is that this club is dying a slow death. Forget about Mick Potter and what the new coach will offer, the facts are that we have now had two seasons with no play-off finish.
This surely for a club the size of Bradford has to be at the bare minimum requirement with the player personal on board.
The crowds will be down again next season as people who have been following the club since the 50's, 60's and 70's turn their back on the club, meaning even less money coming into the club, to spend on players meaning we'll be getting weaker by the season.
The players are badly underperforming, showing no effort, no pride, no passion or determination whatsoever, they just don't look interested when out on the field as yesterday proved.
To think that myself and around 100 others sat for four hours in baking hot cars, buses, trains in temperatures touching 34 degrees getting to the game, only to be left like a best friend, partner has died at the end.
We have now failed to win in nine weeks, I can't remember Northern going through such a bad patch (I'm only 24 and can remember the 1992 season, but this is different).
I'm actually ashamed to be wearing the the famous red, amber & black right now, such was the embarrassment that I've just seen.
Tonight is the night when my last ounce of confidence in Steve McNamara has gone and he should now do the right thing and just walk away and concentrate on getting England ready for the Four Nations because by hanging on to McNamara until now, too much damage has been done to this once great club and for me it's now irreversible.
We should be letting Paul Medley take over for the rest of the season, which can't come soon enough.
I'm sorry for coming across being all despondent, but this is how I'm feeling and I'm one of the supporters that will travel anywhere to watch the club and I'm really get fed up at the minute with the product we see out on the field.

Well something needs to happen and fast, because after last night two friends of my dad who have been watching Rugby league at Odsal since the 50's said that they won't be back again this season and this just isn't an isolated incident.
You only have to look on the popular side at home games to see that the regular faces no longer come.

I was referring to his ability as a coach.

| Mick, don't ever say that you were ashamed to wear the RAB of our great club, it is some of the players who should be feeling that way and, of course, McNamara ~ Not you mate or the other supporters who made that trip.
You deserve to be extremely proud of your own efforts to support the lads and always remember, the BULLS WILL CHARGE again!!!.
With supporters like you and a better boss at the club success is only a matter of time ~ so keep the faith during these bad times, soon the good times will be back and you will be able to tell your grandkids " I remember when................"

Again I'm sorry for coming over all despondent, but this is the worse run by the club since the early 1960's and yes they have been some bad times inbetween.
Nine weeks with no win, yet McNamara still plays the same badly underperforming players that show no effort, no pride, no passion or determination whatsoever, the players who give the impression to me that they would rather be somewhere else.
I can honestly say that I would rather see a side including Addy, Halley, Southernwood, Wardle, Crossley, Finigan, Kopczak, Whitehead, Donaldson play there heart out and feel the pride of putting on the famous red, amber and black then some of the current players.
Yes we may very well get beat, but at least we would see the effort from the players.
Last night we got nothing and it's that what is the most heartbreaking.

I agree with that- I went to that game last night thinking we(Quins) had no chance with our better players missing- What we saw last night was London born lads getting stuck in and playing for there shirt rather than over paid "stars" who sometimes wont roll there sleeves up when there backs are to the wall. Some of our defence was good last night against a bigger pack-

Because that is what is the worst thing for me. I still fool myself into looking forward to going up to Odsal on a Sunday. In this weather a pint in Cue Gardens and then into the ground is still a great way to spend my time but the feeling afterwards is getting harder and harder to stomach. How long can it be before you start not to care anymore? I haven't written this season off yet because I still reckon we are only three wins off a play off place (but can we win three games from the six? I'd say you can forget half of them already with us playing Hull KR, Saints and Wigan away). But would you rather the season ended and we can start thinking about next year or see your team embarrassed in the play offs? Is making the play offs that important if you haven't got a cat in hells chance of even winning the first match? In 2007 I'd have much rather seen the team not qualify than the collapse against Wigan (in hindsight of course).

Good post mate, I really do get the impression that half of the Bradford side don't want to try, can't be d putting in the hard graft or as you say roll up the sleeves when the going gets tough.
I was impressed last night at how many local London players Harlequins have in there side.
Jamie O'Callaghan, Tony Clubb, Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook, Ben Bolger, Lamont Bryan and Olsi Krasniqi.
Six players from London in the 17 last night who faced Bradford and all did the club proud.

Remaining fixtures (the ones in bold mean a win) Wakey (H), Crusaders (A), Hull KR (A), Leeds (H), Saints (A). Salford (H), Hull KR (A), Catalans (H), Saints (A), Wakey (H), Wigan (A). Hull FC (H), Cas (A), Saints (H), Giants (A), Wire (H), Bulls (A), Salford (A). = 20 points.
Out of those remaining games, I can see us getting maybe 4 points at least with the three games at home. It would be nice for us to get 6 points but I'm under no illusions that we'll leave Craven Park, Knowsley Road and the DW stadium with nothing and even then should Castleford get the three wins needed to see us out of the play-off race.
It's all depressing reading and thinking.

Have some faith, look at the run at the back end of last season - no one would have predicted that.
Things will have to drastically improve, but 4 wins is within our reach (if we can find some form).
