I went into a pub near Blackpool once and Ashley Peacock was there. I don't know how that Clare had let him out of the house, he must have sneaked out.

Although not technically stuck with him , I nipped into the loo at 2005 CCF and found myself sharing the urinal with the great Robbie Paul , had a surreal moment looking at the wall whilst having a wazz and asking the legend about all things RL whjlst half ed

Second: I booked a seat on the supporters coach to the Bronco`s match at Brentford not all that long ago, there were still a few spare seats on the the coach and it was just about time top go when Trevor Foster got on the coach (the team had gone a day or so earlier and he couldn`t go then) and he asked if the vacant seat next to me was free. I thought you would have had to win some big competition for something like this, what a bloke...what a journey. The wife sat somewhere further back............................

A long time ago I spent 15 minutes late one night after a match hiding in the dark in the back room of an un-named pub with Paul Medley. We were waiting for two people who were not regulars to leave so the landlord could switch the pumps back on for some after hours drinking. Others in the bar had drinks and were pretending to drink up.

We talked (very quietly) about referees.

Medders and mark robinson were stood watching a match i was refereeing at west bowling couple of weeks ago..presume they were watching elliott minichello, that kids deffo gonna make it, plays year above his age and still stands out.

Once went to a RL. final at Wembley with Victoria Rangers team and on way back stopped off at the Sherwood Forest Hotel in Nottingham. Talked to Jimmy Connors and his girlfriend as of then..Susan George....she was smashing but he was just a complete big headed Tosspot. She blew him out soon after and I like to think it was because of meeting me. but unfortunately for her, I was spoken for at the time....
