On a couple of boards there are rumours that Celtic have gone into administration but the RFL are urging them to keep it as low-profile as possible. Could there be any truth in this, as there are a couple of rumours going about that Fax, Widnes or even Barrow could be in SL next season. Personally, looking at performances etc. i'd like to see Fax, but maybe that's because it'll be another fixture close to home.

That's pretty tragic if its true.

Looks like total cobblers to me.

For them to go into administration they have to go to court.

If that was the case it would be easy to check.

Well hoping for a good game tonight versus The Wire. Also bought extra tickets for next week against Salford. Mind you all season someone has been spreading rumours of closure. Actually most attendances this season have been good.

Good match tonight but wrong result. When Wakey's match was called off the rumour mongers were at it that everyone thought the club had gone bust. Same people were on about it when we were on about it during the league 1 and two divisions. There were 3231 at the game, and that's with all these rumours. I wish people would leave the sniping alone and allow the club to develop.

As previously said, IF they go into Administration it will have to be made public. Will believe it then

They did state that two players had been paid a day late, for goodness sake give them a chance. If we played all local boys we would lose by 100+ every week. Only last week two local lads played against Saints , and played well. The coach has stated if injuries continue we will play only local talent, give them time the talent is developing.

Perhaps I'm being a bit cynical, but I tend to fall into "no smoke without fire" mode on stuff like this.

We've seen it before.

I think the games about to get it's fingers burnt.

2 things:

1) Do the RFL have enough money to help?
2) If they did help, does it not show the whole franchise process up as a farce? If a club presents itself as a viable SL outfit then proves not to be, shouldn't they be penalised or left out to dry?

Or we finally admitting that the franchise process is a charade?
