| The reason we are in our current position is we need players that do it week out/week in. Every player can point to a particular match when they played well.

Although he might not be the fanciest LF in the world, he makes very few errors and offers us a lot in defence.

But nothing in terms of go forward in attack. He just runs, stops and doesn't keep the legs moving.
Defence isn't the be all and end all, you need more than that.

| I'm a Langley fan, but I must admit that performance today was nothing short of woeful. His defence was shocking, and Ive noticed poor defence and getting bumped from tackles creeping into his game over the past few years. A man of Langers pysique should be dominating the opposition, but he's just not cutting it.
I'd drop him for the next game and start Elliot Whitehead, who looked interested and dangerous today. First time Ive seen him and I was very impressed.

Agree 100%. Langley's defence was awful today and Whitehead looked every inch a first teamer.

| Langley is a prop, I've said this before and got ridiculed. His defence is good until he tires. He would be better used in spells. I would love to see us sign a proper loose forward for next year, but I can't see it happening.

Maybe move Burgess to loose for the Leeds game? Looks like Morrison will not be playing anyway..

I've also been saying Langley would be far better as a prop for about 3 years now. However he needs to play like he did against Wakefield, even if he's playing in the front row. If he plays like he has other games, he's not much use anywhere, as he doesn't make any yards.
Normally his defence is something you just can't criticise, but yesterday's game was different. Then again, there were a number of players whose defence was poor, Rinaldi was right at the top of that list for me.

What is he then? He's not a loose-forward.

He's a back row forward. Either loose or second row.
