| Well its all gone dead silent on the next £500k, whats happening and nothing being said about Caisley taking over, new sponsors nothing.
I think the T&A & the club have been really poor with communications. Since the bullbuilder letter asking questions everything has gone quiet.
Whats going on. How is the club doing, how much of the pledge cash has been collected? How are the negotiations going and with whom.
Come on Bulls & T&A give us fans something.

Why post it as though you knew it was true then?
"New chairman and sponsor to be announced next week.

I know I've said this in another thread but don't expect anything from the T and A, the news we are waiting for I would hope will come from the Bulls themselves. I know it seems a bit quiet just now but I think the duck analogy comes into play here, it may look like nothing is happenning but a lot of people including Ryan, Peter and Andrew along with others are paddling frantically to get things signed so that they can release the information we all need to hear.
Lets all hope it's good news.

I'm sure you're right Gill. Let's hope, whether tomorrow or in the next few weeks, the news is good.

If true I dont think that's too bad. As others have said, some will be waiting until their monthly pay day and it was always likely that there'd be some non payers.
The danger is that the "problem" will be built up to the point that people who would have paid might not because they think others might not.

This was the problem i thought we should have had. Basically there should have been terms & conditions if the 500k was reached the money AUTOMATICALLY came out at a certain date and the Bulls should have got the bank details when fans pledged.
What was to stop a fan pleding £1000 who ha sno intention of pledging?

That's a report from LE.
I'm a keen TRLer and I'm sure that there are no posters on there with anything like the inside knowledge of some on here.

Disingenuous. The report was actually in LE, and quoted Hood as saying by the weekend that "Over £300k" had already been collected. A whole whopping three days or so after the first call-in.
The reference to some people coughing up was, I think, to the very occasional comment in various places about not being prepared to honour their commitment. And I have a suspicion that some of those comments can be attributed to [iagents provocateur.[/i
And anyway, my understanding from sources close to was that the club at the weekend was actually quite pleased with the conversion rate thus far.

Well, as we reportedly already have about £450,000 in, I'd say that the method the Bulls used was seemingly very effective, and a far better bet than your idea, which I'm sure would have led to a huge amount less pledges since many would either be unkeen to given bank details or not have any bank details to give (for just 2 reasons).

You mean no intention of paying? Well, I'm sure that there is a built-in factor, and I'd bet it is an extremely small percentage. The number of wind-up merchants prepared to go to those lengths is, I'd bet, vanishingly small as a percentage.
