Jeffries - kicking was awesome and tbh I don't think he put a foot wrong all game.
Whitehead - his attack was quality but his defence was equally as good.
Bateman - bust the line a fair few times, excellent defence and wasn't afraid to get stuck in when Smith was starting.

Kearney, Hargreaves and Sammut came extremely close with Kear, Crookes and Lulia getting mentions.

Jeffries - hope he doesn't go missing for the next couple of games, as his kicking was tremendous!
Whitehead - 3 tries, great defence, good performance
Hargreaves - By far his best game in a Bulls shirt, drove hard, tackled hard!

Got to mention, Sammuts kicking on the penalties were awesome - Can't understand how he missed touch twice last week. His Goal kicking was pretty good too.

Last mention to Bateman - going to be a classy player, runs all the right lines and puts a big hit in for his size

Jeffries - organised everyone, kicked brilliantly and had one of his best games for us
Whitehead - Missed a couple of tackles, but apart from that was excellent. He's really dangerous attacking kicks!
Bateman - looked useful in both attack and defence.

Jefferies (even though I doubted him earlier this week-proved me wrong!) hope he keeps it up.
Hargreaves- Dominant. Lead by example. Superb in defence and took the ball up with some gusto!
Whitehead- well taken 3 tries and good on attack/defence.

More of the same please.

Thought Scruton had a better game this week too and Bateman had a cracker! One to watch. Although, can't wait til Platt is back on the sideline

First half was hard to watch. Second half lots more control, thought Sammut changed his game to help us magnificently. Jeffries supplied the killer touches for Whitehead to basically fall over the line. All still needed finishing off.

Hargreaves very effective when on, much better from Scrutes, Heath busy as ever, plenty of effort from Platt and Luila.

Shame Purtell, Elima, Gale and a couple of others still out / not quite ready. Think we can improve very much, especially discipline and defensively wise.

Lots still to work on, big test is backing up next week. Will we be defeated before taking the field?

Much better tonight and surprisingly our fitness levels looked good too considering we were the side most under the cosh in the first half.

I went for Jeffries, Hargreaves and Bateman

That's tough on Whitehead, after all he did score a hat trick. But I felt it was equally tough to ignore the claims of the three above. They all worked tremendously hard and laid the platform, in different ways, for our victory
