It's a story that's not going away. I'm hopeful that if it's the case that McNamara wants to step up for the England job that the reason for the deal in announcing it is that the board are trying to get a decent replacement to come in

I'd be disappointed if McNamara was instructed to leave his post immediately and leave us in the lurch a little. I suspect he'll see out his Bulls contract and combine both roles in the short term similar to T Smith if the rumour is true.

I'd be pretty disappointed if Brian Mc was announced as our new Head Coach as well. I think we need an experienced Coach coming in if we're to move forward.

I did say a few days ago...be careful what you wish for.

Hopefully a decent Aussie assistant or experienced Aussie head coach will be coming in, head hunted by Beaver.

On a personal note I would like to see Ian Millward come to odsal.

I must admit I'm puzzled why anyone would actually want the England job to be honest unless they were struggling for employment. I think the quality of the rumoured candidates probably says it all. If the names were correct, I can see why they might offer it to McNamara.

I'm with Paul, we almost certainly should be looking to the NRL for our new coach. I can't think of any Brit coaches available or likely to be available to deliver Hood's aims of top 4 finishes.

Apparently he's building a good relationship with Robbie Paul over at Leigh.

Could be an interesting coaching team in the making for us there.

To right! the available list is in no particular order. Paul Cullen Bobby Goulding Andy Kelly, Steve Sims could be tempted from Salford!

However, I will be disgusted if McDermott is the replacement. If it does happen, we should be looking to the NRL for a replacement
