Haven't put the same team out twice all season.

How is that supposed to be beneficial to the team gel-ing?

All the players train together. It's now a excuses that's worn thin.

They may train together, but how can you form any partnerships in the side if you can't have the same guys playing in the same positions?

For example, look at Big Les and Hape. They had a great partnership because as well as training together they played next to each other nearly every week. If they only played together 1 week out of 10, how good do you think their understanding would have been?

You wuiold thinkg that the team would have a pretyy good idea on the tuesday whoi oight be playing on the weekend/ Wouls there be aby chance of them traingin thoghet for the rest of the week? Appatently not.

that depends fully on who's fit to train. I think it was at the last fans forum it was mentioned that in the week leading up to some of our games in the previous season we'd only a handful of guys who were actually fit enough to go through a full training session as the rest of the team were carrying some form of injury.

Rugby League is not a tickling contest and 80 minutes of getting smashed into by other players is going to hurt for a long while. One of the stats that came out of the GPS vests that the club started using last year was that the average tackle had the same force as a car crash.

I agreed that they needed more time, but we're halfway through the season. Most of them have trained together, they should be familiar with each others styles. I'm not saying we should be playing like an Origin side, but looking like a unit instead of 13 strangers would be a start.

Origin sides get together a.few days before SoO1.

There is more chance of me gelling my hair than the team gelling and I have been bald for years.

I hate the 'time to gel' excuse but I do believe that if we had been able to consistently put out a similar team we would be in a completely different position right now. It seems impossible to get all our players playing well at the same time, each game we only seem to have 3 or 4 players playing well and these players change week in week out.
