| Looks like they are both on the way to us. Both handy players.

| Not happy with Segeyaro tbh. Well past his best and we have cover at hooker anyway. Plus when he was at Leeds his attitude was bad apparently and hasn’t played many games over the last 5 years. Signing him because of his name like we did with Neilsen and Willie Tonga.
Baitieri on the other hand was a leader at Catalan. And has played many games recently so will be match fit. Plus we need a Loose to put Butler back in the SR. Or a prop due to injuries. This is a signing I’d be very happy with.

| Not heard ‘One Game Willie Tonga’s’ name for some time. What a rich tapestry he had at the Bulls.
These would have been decent signings 4/5 years ago. I’ll reserve judgement until they’ve arrived and played a few games.

| Jase is 34 and played in a Lézignan team that hasn’t won the comp despite having him, Antoni Maria, Corey Norman, Segayaro and James Maloney in it.
A joke that Lézignan lost a game with those players in there let alone didn’t make the semi finals of the cup.

| That worries me more being 4 years younger than Flanagan and playing in France. So not one club decided he’d be worth a punt in the off season. As I say, didn’t rate him at Leeds 7 years ago. Can’t see how he’ll be better or if his attitude has changed. Would rather see Lilley, GFS and Jowitt fill in there.
Baitieri on the other hand will be ideal for the Championship and with Lawrence, Thompson and Baitieri in the pack with the likes of Wallace and Butler will be great.

Remember his debut haha. Think he touched the ball twice On another note it’s a bit bad that we’ve had the Number 44 worn by 5 different players since 2016!

| I am worried with these and the other signings, even all the loan signings, it feels like chit or bust to me to get back to Superleague, i dont think for a minute MD is making these decisions either... if it fails its all over.

| Maybe we just saw an opportunity to strengthen the squad a little? Performance matters now (retrospectively) so it makes sense that we'd be trying to finish as high up the table as we can. I don't think it necessarily means poop or bust. There hasn't been so much as a sniff of financial mis-management at Bradford under Nigel Wood, despite what many think of him.

| It does make me a laugh, if we don’t sign players we’ve no ambition, if we sign people to continuously improve our chances it’s wrong. Where does it say anywhere MD has no involvement in this decision?

It’s not about signing players it’s about signing the right ones. Segeyaro has done nothing since 2019 (when he played 13 times for Brisbane). So at 29 no-one really wants him except Lezignan.
Since then he’s been found guilty of drink driving. Then in 2019 he was found guilty of using banned substances, with his ban being backdated from 2021. Not to mention all the other things he’s done throughout his career. We bring in Lawrence and Walker etc as Dunning says to change the culture to a positive one then look at bringing in Segeyaro? Madness. From Dally M Hooker in 2014 to scraping around the French league before he’s 33. After his poor do at Leeds (leaving because he’s homesick?), we should not be looking at him.
