Overall following the 44-10 victory to Wigan yesterday I'm not too disheartened by what I saw when you take into account that Wigan have one of the best defences in the league and there is that lethal left & right hand attack out wide.

This is still very much a Bradford side in progress and some of our fickle supporters will have to understand that you can't just throw 11 new faces into a side and expect immediate results and IMO no current Super League side would have beaten Wigan at Odsal yesterday.

The evidence was there for all to see with Michael Maguire's side disciplined from the word go.

So we now find ourselves pretty much as expected after the opening two games against Leeds and Wigan and the good thing is that the encouraging signs are there.

So what should we expect away at Wrexham on Saturday evening against a side who put Salford through the cleaners but then fell flat at the Stoop and defeat to Rob Powell's Harlequins?

I wouldn't call this a must win game just yet but we can't afford another lackluster and naive performance like the one we saw yesterday.

some training ground moves out on the field would be nice. it didn't look like we were organised enough when in their 20. we need to look more dangerous in attack than yesterday.

We had NO half-backs, how can you expect creative play with out play makers?

Yeah, I must admit I was somewhat annoyed by that too, considering the rest of the game, undue pressure on necks, foreheads and noses seemed to not even warrant a penalty.

There were a lot of grapples in yesterdays game. It was like watching the old ITV wrestling again (showing my age). I thought it wasn't allowed to get a player in a headlock anymore?

That's the problem and I hope the supporters understand this.

To play against that Wigan yesterday with no half backs was a tough ask in it'self.
