| It's now less than two weeks before the RFL's big bang and magical start to the season at Cardiff's Millenium Stadium.
For the season opener I would go with the following:
Kearney
Ah Van
Platt
Walker
Ainscough/Raynor
Briggs
Herbert
Lynch
L'Estrange
Hargreaves
Elima
Whitehead
Langley
Scruton
Kopczak
Diskin
Sibbitt/Royston
The strength that we have in depth this season is truly amazing and as Matt was saying in the pub yesterday, we've got a real opportunity to mix things up each week and tailor the team to suit who we are playing.
Over to Leeds and we know that McGuire, Peacock, Buchanan, Hall and Bailey are absentees for this game.
So Leeds could end up looking like this:
Webb
Smith
Delaney
Senior
Watkins
Sinfield
Burrow
Kylie
Buderus
Cross
Ablett
Hauraki
Clarkson
Ali
Bailey
Burgess
Hauraki
I think we are in with a chance of playing Wigan at Odsal in round two with a 100% record.
Bradford 22-14 Leeds with 26,000 brave souls in the stadium.

SUBS
L'Estrange
Scruton
Kopczak
Sibbit
The only one I'm not sure about is which way around he'll play the hookers, but I'd be surprised if that wasn't the 17 (barring any injuries).

I think that I'd start with Diskin before allowing L'Estrange to open up the gaps after the opening 20 minutes or so of forwards bashing around.
In saying that it could be used the otherway round and it certainly feels great to see Mick Potter having all these options.

| I think I'd go for the following based on what saw yesterday. Maybe lean more towards Ainscough and Sibbit for the two split roles
Kearney
Ah Van
Platt
Walker
Ainscough/Raynor
Briggs
Herbert
Lynch
L'Estrange
Hargreaves
Elima
Whitehead
Langley
Scruton
Kopzcak/Sibbit
Diskin
Royston
Really hope I can find a bar that's showing it!!

| Seeing Sibbit's size yesterday, it did occur to me that we might actually use him as a 4th prop instead of Koppy. Especially if Craig's form isn't going well. Difficult to see that Sibbit used to be a centre, as he's a BIG bloke!

Must admit his size really surprised me!
I'd go with your 17 too, although in an ideal world would have Ah Van in the centres. I think Sibbit played himself into the 17 in place of Ainscough. But its horses for courses, and Potter has - to an extent - the luxury of being able to tailor his 17 match-by-match relative to the attributes of the opposition.

I can't get over that this is the same player we saw at Salford last year.
I've always been a Sibbit fan, from his early days at Warrington and the Challenge Cup semi-final games we had in 2000/2001.

That's my thinking as well. His form in Pre season has been better than Koppys IMO so that's why I'd lean towards him. Royston in for his versatility. Scrutes as impact prop and then if Disko comes on and did what he did yesterday I would be very happy

I'm pretty sure that they'll be a sports type of bar that has sky sports.
The kick-off will be at 9am over in the US and you might be struggling to find one open at that time.

I've been impressed by Diskin's reading of the game, his short bursts up the middle from dummy half catching the opposition markers offside/not square could see us win a whole host of penalties this season if we look at the two he won at Dewsbury and the two he won yesterday.

Spoke to my mate at work about that this morning the way he uses off side markers as a shield is a great tactic.
Most people though Potter would go the other way and use Disko from the start but it worked really well yesterday ad played them both at one stage which gives us an extra option

As Adey has mentioned, I think it might depend on the opposition as to who starts and who comes off the bench. Different teams, different strengths/weaknesses.
