| So come on guys, who do we need to bring in to get the squad in a position to mount a challenge next year, assuming semi is also leaving -
Realistic suggestions only

It's looking paperthin isn't it James?
I think another prop and backrower are the most crucial positions we mut fill now.
I'm not a Moimoi fan at all. He gets gassed with far to much ease.
Wouldn't mind Westwood after thinking about it.

| It is looking pretty worrying, however, I can not believe the club have not got a number of suitable signings lined up.
Even before Burgess 'officially' went, we had some serious positions to fill.
Regardless of clubs wanting to sell and players actually being available I would go for Brough, Lyon, Walker, Westerman and an impact prop.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

| Its getting worrying late to pick up quality players for next year unless some deals are well advanced down the pipeline.
It may not be a case of who we want, rather than who remains available.
Hood said last week that the Tadulala issue would be finalaised by last week-end. So far its the same deafening silence we have come to expect.

| Personally I hope there are some announcements made pretty soon, cos at the moment I`m feeling very deflated with the confirmation of Sam`s move. Obviously, it`s been on the cards, and we all knew it was going to happen, but the reality has finally hit home.
Come on Peter Hood, put a spring back in our steps.

Do you think the howls of laughter might put them off their semi-finals this weekend?

| What's your squad looking like as we speak? ie current contracted players and confirmed signings.

The club has no debt. Hasn't had since about 2002 or 2003.

The best I could come up with would be something along the lines of:
Halley
Sherriffe
Platt
Nero
Crookes
Sykes
Deacon
Lynch
l'Estrange
Hall
Menzies
Langley
Donaldson
Godwin
Kopczak
Scruton
Worrincy
with Hyde, Crossley, Tate, Olbison & Whitehead in the squad.

What are the odds on a bottom 4 finish? We're doomed, doomed I tell ya!
Hopefully we'll get some good news sooner than later. We should be able to bring in a minimum of three players, so a halfback, prop and second row, and possibly a centre if we're really lucky.

With a squad list like that it seems that you will have a very heavy reliance on a number of very young and inexperienced kids. You need at least 4 or 5 more experienced players (not necessarily world class) to avoid another season similar (if not worse) than this one.
TBH, if I were a Bulls fan, I'd be looking to pick up some quality experience (the likes of Furner was fantastic at Leeds) to bolster the team for 2 years, with the emphasis being on a return to the playoffs not next year but the year after.
If the kids have potential, then don't knock it out of them by overplaying them when they are too young or physically immature to handle it.
ps, I wonder if Nick Scruton is wondering if he made the right decision in leaving Leeds???

I dread to think what the Bradford side of 5 years ago would do to that team. Major investment needed, must have loads of room on the cap though?
