Since there are 3 potential teams that will be joining us in this league next year. Who do you think would suit us better? IMO we need a team that we can dominate throughout the year. We need confidence to be at an all time high next year, but it has to come from the standard of games they play, not because they used to play SL like this years team.

Huddersfield have a wealthy backer who I feel would continue to bankroll the team. As my most disliked club out of the 3, I'm still hoping they aren't relegated, as they would keep a lot of their talent, giving us no chance.

Hull kr seem to have hit a rough patch with directors leaving. They have the least money to flash out of the 3 (if koukash stays). If koukash does stay at Salford, I'd see hull kr as our best chance of being a team we could dominate.

Salford its simple. No koukash, no chance. Even with koukash it would still be tough for them.

Lets be realistic If I were a Bradford fan I would be more worried about getting over Batley, London, and Fev before worrying about the team coming down.

Meh. First we need to get to the level where we can dominate Dewsbury and Batley.

Be nice to have the weight of expectation on someone else though.

There's still the possibility that 2 of the above clubs could join the Championship next year. But London would have to beat an SL team in the MPG, so no. Sorry for bringing it up.

There is as much danger coming from the opposite direction. A cash rich Toulouse will be a force in the Championship next season.

Or even beat Workington.

One quality up from below and two SL down suits me just dandy. A world in which you cannot measure yourself is a world in which you have no idea who you are.

It means:

1) A healthier competition

2) Jeopardy in games that is inherent and not manufactured by our own staggering ineptitude, as it has been at times this season

3) The weight of expectation is elsewhere

And all this is happening in a context where we've had a clear out of those who think they deserve it because they've had it before in favour of those who, we hope, want it because they aspire to it.

For us in our position I think this is the best of all possible worlds. Bring it on.

Doubt it. For one thing it's half as far again from Toronto as Keighley is from London.

I would like to see Salford stay up and either (if not both) of the other two relegated. It would be good if none of the useless players that put us in this position were to be rewarded by SL status.

We won't be playing Toronto in 2018. They'll get promoted and replace us in the Championship.
We've got slowly worse every year since 2006, so if the trend continues, it's inevitable we'll be relegated to Champ 1 some time in the next few years. Followed by the lowest of the low, we'll lose a game to Keighley
