I'm going Saturday but not staying over.

I wanted to go to the darts and go out for a few as well but the boss tells me that I have plans on the Sunday morning.

Got the B&B for 3 of us for the full weekend, will get the tickets later should be good seeing different teams play

Personally, I'm not sure I fancy a game against a team that has a large section of fans who hate us, after people have had a full day of drinking before it (in a city that's renowned for drinking), where all the fans are inter-mingled.

I think I might watch that one game this year on the telly.

Dont be such a big girls blouse, its not football and despite us having a number of fans who still think its '98 you should be more than ok. Most Fax fans will be up for a bit of banter and rugby chat and the ones that arnt, well most Fax fans and Bulls fans should simply move away from them because its simply not worth the hassle. They will be in the minority and i for one have really missed the Bradford derbies and their fans whom on the whole I used to find pretty good humoured and some of the best in the league.

Not a question of not liking Fax fans. I have no problem with them. It's that a certain amount of them don't like us.

During the cup game a couple of years back, there was some quite horrible and nasty stuff being thrown around from a reasonably large section of them stood behind the goals with the Bulls fans. And that's when they've only had a couple of hours in the pub, not all day on a drinking binge in Blackpool.

For the rest of us social drinkers - I've found this on various forum pages.....

I imagine Blackpool will be a bit lairy. That said I’m going up to Newcastle for the Super Duper League shindig (I’m a sellout I know) and Newcastle is the wildest city I’ve been to in the UK for a night out. The decent pubs are greater in number though and easy to find. Stay away from the Bigg Market!

Charlie recommends the Lifeboat just behind the Prom ,or the Swift Hound nearby the ground does decent meals to.Plus a visit to the Tower Circus , not to be missed.
