i guess no more "tickets" and the ablity to build up "points"

Ill be interested to see what the value of these points are and where you can build them up, if its all local stores them it wont mean a thing to me as i live miles away

whats the betting there wont be swipe machine at enough gates and theyll break every 5 minutes , not that im a perssimist or anything !

Yes the cards they have at Leeds! Only you get to collect points...at least you can turn up at a match next season and expect to go home with some points!

Wonder how they "sold" it to the stores, many of whom have their own schemes? . . . . . . which again makes you wonder who they are. Would be good if Morrison's had signed up I suppose.

How do you know what you have actually built up on your card? Addressing that could be expensive.

Seriously, I think its an ace idea. As long as its easy to use - one turnstile on each set for example, I don't see a problem.

Perhaps you will be able to check your balance online somehow? That would be good.

And to go a step further, it seems strange for them to be introduced when we supposedly have major renovation works in the pipeline. On the other hand there will be a saving (I guess) on gate staff so maybe that is the idea.

Looks like the season tickets will again be a bargain for 13 live matches of top quality sport (even if it's usually the opposition) and the loyalty card points are a bonus (even if it is soemthing of a gimmick).

Gimmick or not, it's innovative marketting for a Super League club. Something we made our name with in the early days of summer rugby.
I know it's been a bad season but can we please not write off something that hasn't even started yet?

I agree I'm just trying to make the point that the real underlying benefit is that the season ticket remains a great way of watching live sport in a friendly atmosphere and cheaply. They're still a bargain.

it's a cracking idea and if it's the same scheme as what Chelsea and other premiership clubs use I don't think the quality of shops to be spending points on will be low.
