| One thing that's been mentioned in a few post match interviews is that Mark Dunning hasn't got an assistant and is still involved with reserves and academy coaching which means he's been working some ridiculously long hours. Apparently he's going to get an assistant but this looks like it won't happen in the immediate future. Obviously this needs addressing.
I hear rumours that George Flanagan is being touted for this role.
Thoughts?

| Its a bit like a half back pairing (what's that I hear you ask). If you have one runner, then you need the other one to be creative. Same with coaches - If you have a cerebral head coach, then maybe your assistant should be the sort to get passionate and shout a bit.
Or...I may have just typed a load of crap.

| Probably waiting until November when we stop paying John Kears salary. Doubt we can afford anyone extra until then.
Flanagan wouldn’t be my choice but he seems very much in favour all of a sudden.

Don't get me wrong I've nothing personal against the bloke but with his disciplinary record is he the right man?

Agree, it’s nothing personal. He comes across as a very personable guy. That disciplinary record has got to be a problem though surely? However, I wouldn’t be surprised to see it happen. He seems to be very close to Dunning so it’s definitely an option.

I wouldn't have Flannagan anywhere near a professional sporting Organisation, as player or coach.. Hunslet was about the right level.
Having said that I wouldn't have MD as head coach either so appointing with the view to progression as a club isn't big on nigels list of priorities.

| Two inexperienced coaches in charge of a side that needs a massive overhaul in personnel, culture and standards. What could possibly go wrong, what an absolute shambles.

Bizarre set up having one man do everything. Michael Carter reportedly said at a Wakefield fans forum recently that had they been relegated they would lose their academy. Their’s is a top rated one that they get funding for.
If we are paying one man to do everything we’ve effectively done the same and it’s also outrageous of the club to expect him to do it all.
It wouldn’t surprise me to find out Flanagan and (and any other senior players) are taking first team training.

The clubs been kept on life support until an odsal payday imho.
There is zero progress been made in any department.
And someone who I know on the staff said "it's an amateur club in everything but name"
Nige will get a cut of a development deal then look to cash out of the club..
Naughty old devious nigel

Forget it's Nigel Wood for a second. Now explain to me how the current owner of Bradford Bulls would get 'a cut of a development deal' and then 'cash out of the club'.

| Speaking with a work colleague this morning who is a Bulls ST holder, he claims Mr Noble will be on the scene next season.

He’s already on the scene working as a ‘consultant’ alongside Mark Dunning

You make your point eloquently, I could suggest a number of ways he could benefit.
With helping facilitate large scale developments and very greatful construction firms?.
