| After a decent start the wheels seem to have fallen off spectacularly in the last few weeks. Three league tonkings in a row followed by a cup exit to the mighty London and it is déjà vu all over again IMO.
On and off the field we are now a bit of a shambles again. From the day they had that special one hour sale on gear that piddled off so many it has been one PR disaster after another at the club, with the withdrawal of Willey spunking a six-figure sum away, a money-shot in the arm, so to speak.
On the field we are actually where I expected to be. I still believe it is between ourselves and the Hull clubs to make up the eight but we do need to start getting results again and fast. Half term report. Satisfactory but could do better.
Off-field I am more concerned with the new hierarchy to be honest. I am just not convinced by the two new men at the helm TBH. Just be aware....

| Hard to disagree with that. I don't think many Bulls fans were expecting much in term of points from the last few SL games but I had hoped we might be a little more competitive given the start we made. When you consider where we were at the start of the year then you could argue that we're doing a lot better than we might have expected to.
The London CC loss wasn't a huge surprise but once again I had hoped we would be competitive. From the commentary and reports I've read, we must didn't turn up and perform to the levels we have shown we're capable of.

| I think for half term report I would give the Bulls a C,if we had won on Friday,I think it would of been a B
Apart from Friday, maybe the only game this season we have dropped points unexpectedly was the draw at Widnes, but gained bonus points at Hudds and the draw at Leeds.
Fridays defeat, along with not very good press lately, the Akbars money, now this about Jay Willey, for me has just taken the edge off what in all fairness has been a pretty decent first half of the season
The next 2 or 3 games are really vital,4 points from next 6 and maybe we will think we have weathered the storm, couple more defeats and not looking as good
I think Fridays defeat has hurt more than one defeat should of,simply because it was a great chance to state we know we are behind the likes of Wigan,Leeds etc but we are better than the lower teams,a big missed opportunity
7th in the league is very acceptable,7th in the league and in last 8 of cup would of been loads better

| I'm happy we still have a club and that it is around the halfway point in the league, that is the bottom line, and the joy of still having a club to support definitely outweighs any negative aspects for me.
The new owners will clearly take time to 'bed in' and come together with other people who can drive the club forward. Yeah, mistakes will be[have been?]made, it's just life and nothing is ever perfectly smooth.
On the pitch we aren't where we might have been, and that could have been vastly different in both better and/or worse ways. We didn't get the luxury of proper recruiting during the pre-season but we did keep the rump of what we had, so whilst most of us, and no doubt the coach, would have made changes it it had been possible, it's a bit of both, I guess.
Given everything which has surrounded the club over the last 12 months I'm not happy, I'm delighted.

| None of us expected to win the last 3 (and I would describe none of them as "tonkings"icon_wink.gif
All of us, if truthful, no disrespect etc DID expect us to beat London, some thought it would be hard, some didn't, but we were all i think pretty devastated to go behind like we did and then not find a way to recover. The draws were working out OK, and openly or secretly, we all had high hopes and were anticipating with relish a lucky draw in the QF. I think it is getting beat at London which is what has put a major dampener on.
As for the new management, we all knew what we were getting. There is a distinct shortage of billionaires willing throw funds at RL clubs and thank god we found someone with belief and passion. Even then, with one suitor, some were telling us all OK wanted to do was get the land, move us off, etc. well none of that has happened and whether you query their management style or not, surely everyone must believe that seemingly all OK wants to do is to have a successful Bulls team? If you are not "convinced" by him and GS - so what? I mean, it's not like there's a queue.

I would. Three games, three heavy losses in which we were never in the game whatsoever.

There isn't a queue, sadly. However I am not sure that means that I cannot have an opinion on them? So far the things I have heard about Mr K have not exactly shown him in a good light. Two ex-employees similarly seem to have had "issues" here too. Whether he "saved" us or not, that does not mean that I have to be convinced by him.

| Perhaps all those criticising the RFL for not having queues of investors lining up to pour billions into RL could lend their wisdom to OK. I am sure he would welcome some assistance.

Yes it does. Be sure. You must, you have no choice. You have no right to an opinion. Because that is exactly what I said, isn't it.

It's hardly risible to point out the RFL haven't secured a main sponsor for the Super League and World Cup.

This says it all. Thin squad plus no budget = what is happening now. Overall I think we've done well and if Gale finds a bit of form we could pick up points but the main issue is in the middle of the park.

| We're pretty much where I expected we'd be at this stage of the season. Given the losses of some senior players last year and our much smaller squad I'd say we're doing alright. Just hope we don't get any more injuries as the loss of Kearney and Manoakafoa will hurt us. We were definitely a top 8 side last year. This year the smaller squad means it'll be harder. We might be able to turn over a top 5 side every once in a while but as a rule we're still a long way off challenging for trophies.
Coaching wise Cummins has done well. The challenge is for him to keep confidence and morale up when we're going through a tough patch like now.
Off the field the lack of RFL cash means it's been harder for the new owners but I would've hoped they've budgeted for that and didn't expect too much in the way of season ticket sales. The fallout over the club shop sale and the dealings with Ms Whatsername haven't been great publicity but it's not been anything too serious.

| We're better placed than I expected in the league. The cup defeat was disappointing, but, given our lack of squad depth, it would have been unrealistic to expect us to progress much further. We dont have the playing resources to compete in two competitions. We might benefit from a couple of spare weekends to keep the players reasonably fit.

It was Akbars consortium who had that plan, NOT Omar Khan !

| I didn't think Cummins had the mental toughness or aura to carry this off. At the moment I would say I was about 80% wrong. Up to a couple of weeks ago I would have said I was 99% wrong. Looking at your fixture list you could conceivably lose every game until September, Salford & Widnes I would expect you to win but I doubt you will be red hot favourites for either. This will tell me just how wrong I was.
