| According to todays Telegraph and Argus an informed source has told them that there will be no reprieve regarding relegation and there are definitley no plans to rejig the Championship to keep us in it.
How reliable there informed source is we can only guess at.

| Good.
Let's rebuild from the bottom. If we can stay full time, win the league, come back up and the go from that point.

| Would rather we started at the bottom than stay in championship on a technicality.

| We just need certainty and it needs to be official not from some shadowy "informed source".
As for whether the club can survive (let alone re-build) that's another matter. C1 will definitely see lower crowds. There's no way the club can afford the Odsal rent and upkeep. Perhaps closing the terrace might save some money so perhaps we'll all be in the stand next year? I bet that fills you all with joy. I've yet to see any real evidence that the fundamental reasons for our decline (lack of money) have been addressed. If anything things are worse. The silence from the owners hardly helps. There may be rumours abounding of Koukash giving us a few quid but really?
To all intents and purposes the downward spiral continues. If it weren't for the academy gradually recovering it'd be uniformly bad news all round.
On the bright side we'll have no points deduction.

That's a bold statement to make considering we're in this situation often, only for something else to crop up afterwards and we lose another load of points!

| It seems to be a popular line 'rebuild in NL1'. I'm fairly sure we heard that when we were relegated from SL as well.
With the little info we have it seems to me that we continue to play in an oversized stadium that we couldn't afford in SL or Championship. Central funding is reducing each year as we plummet. Crowds continue to drop as we plummet. Sponsorship value will follow the trend of our profile and support base which all continue to drop.
So I ask again, who or what is funding this 'rebuild'? Or is it just a nice thought to ignore the reality of our situation? Professional RL for the Bulls looks to be coming to an end to me.

Especially with the impending employment tribunal in January 2018, scarily close to the start of the new season... You just know the RFL, even though they are themselves implicated in it, will find a way to fudge something and "reward" us with a points deduction, or take away our central funding monies yet again, or both!

Well it seems pretty obvious the first team will be a mix of part time and full time in 2018. I'd like to know the ratio of part time to full time.
Like you I'm dubious about the "rebuild in C1" quote. It's a throwaway line that doesn't stand up to scrutiny. Unless the fundamental reason for our decline - lack of money brought about by money pit of a stadium and poor management - is sorted then Admin 4 and complete oblivion is assured.
But then again maybe it is all sorted. How else are wages and bills being paid? We must be bringing in a fraction of the money we were this time last year. Ok overheads are bound to be less but I reckon income is way less too.

| Relegation has been nailed on for a few weeks now,
performances have deserved it so nobody can be surprised.
If a shady restructure save us it will have been agreed with CHALOW before the season started and was mentioned months ago..
It also wouldn't surprise me if relegation wasn't agreed at the outset too.
The whole post liquidation saga stinks, to me it has been masterminded by the RFL and A.N.Other (Leo group maybe?) that the bulls are kept on life support, until a pocket linning deal for all other parties, i.e fat Nige, The RFL and the Moriarty figure who will be revealed.
Someone called it with so called "inside info" last year I though it was tosh it now seems bang right.
Chalmers and Lowe are RFL patsies to throw the fans and the wider RL community off the sent.
The bringing in of Toovey an elaborate rouge (big name) to look like they had good intentions for the club.
Then new stadium / RFL head quarters on Dunnies, massive Bio plant on Odsal, Nige buys Pukka pies and is linked up to a 24hr supply line with the profits.
as far as the Bulls goes who cares?
Mr Wasps, Koukash or maybe even Lamb would have invested maybe and had the club at heart.
That's just my opinion,

Well in fairness we did have a good season in our first year in the championship. Unfortunately a ridiculous, unfair crackpot promotion system stopped us. Next season we just have to be the best in that league.
Regards to funding. I've no idea. they must be something as the academy costs £100k to run. We somehow funded a squad that will likely be more expensive (due to having to honor contracts, and considering Green and Ferres were the ones handing out those contracts. i reckon a few of the gash players could be on reasonable wages) We could have a better squad, and pay less for it. Then you've got all the sponsorship, ticket money etc.

| I can't see how anyone will be on the contracts which Green and Ferres negotiated as they died along with the old club. I'd imagine all the staff, including players, will be on new contracts, negotiated with the current regime.

| And quite rightly we should be relegated, as we should have been last season.
I have yet to hear one single person who says we should not be/should not have been.
Cue loads of other fans saying that we all think we are too big to go down, get special privileges, etc, etc.... It's boring now.

| I'm struggling to accept how we have been treated this year. We've been cannon fodder all season when we should have been laying down some foundations in the league below. Heck with a bit of luck we might have even been there or thereabouts for a tilt at promotion back into the Championship.
But no, we've endured a season that was actually worse than I expected and my expectations were low. We face starting where we should of been this year but with a fan base that is further peed off with everything.
I just feel as though we have punished twice over once more. I'm not sure I have the enthusiasm for much more of it to be honest.

| Well we are where I expected us to be if I'm honest. In my head I knew it'd be like this but in my heart I allowed myself to dream that we'd scrape avoiding relegation.
Unfortunately all my worst fears about this season have come to pass. Kids were treated like cannon fodder. Fans treated like mushrooms. Club exists only to save the RFL from re-writing the fixtures.
The saving grace has been the progress of some of our young players. Unfortunately those that have done well are most likely going to leave (Bentley, Ryan etc).
I could summon up some enthusiasm for 2018 if I could be persuaded there is a plan for the future but if it's just silence coming from the club I'll stick with the odd U19 game and find other things to do. Fans need to feel wanted or they'll give up - I'm not sure Chalmers grasps that concept.
We go again in 2018. I just hope the owners are in it for real and not just pretenders.
