| We still have to play Wigan away, Saints away, Hull and Hull KR. All 4 of which we will lose.
Definitely going to struggle to make the 8 now. Today's match was so crucial with KR and Hudds dropping points on Friday. But could SM get them fired up enough to get the win? Could he bollox.

Don't worry Peter Hood will replace McNamara with someone who is equally as s**t.

Surely that is not possible?
Then again - Hood appears to be as clueless as well so anything is possible.

| It was hardly a suprising result. We've struggled at Cas during the good times, but 6 defeats in a row is pretty awful.
Good effort again to appease most fans? I dunno, wasn't there..

Of course he should have been away long, long ago. But there will no doubt be his apologists on here again this week.
Now, what nonsense will af, Adey and FA force feed us with this week I wonder?

No it isn't. It is the work of a brilliantly under-rated coach. He is a clear genius.

| I was not there. Neither were you. The difference is that, since I was not there to see what happened I am not mouthing off. Unlike you who once again seem barely-able to conceal your glee.
If you don't mind, I'll wait to read the opinions of those who went and saw what happened, those I respect, rather than make any further response to your usual uninformed unhealthily-obsessed vomit.

It really gets to you this doesn't it? The fact that your relentless support of this pathetic excuse for a "coach" is now making you look really rather foolish.

| Poor overall really.
A couple of good tries and good plays, but defence wasn't good enough, effort levels were way down from last week and our kicking game was poor again.
Poor bench options by McNamara, didn't even use Addy so a waste of a bench spot when we could have used Crossley to help out as he overused Lynch again, even on his 1st game back.
Kearney and Menzies were excellent though, and Kearney's break was the highlight of the game.

| Macca can't count past 3 with the Props and has been like that for 4 years. Hall and Worrincey can't be counted as Props as neither is effective there. And he does over use Lynch all the time. Very poor tactically with bench selection and use. It's criminal to leave somebody on the bench unused. If the ref sent somebody off early in and incorrectly we'd be calling for his head but that is in effect what we do when we leave a player on the bench. If he's gonna do that he might as well pick my wife as she could warm the bench as well as anybody!..

| Gave away far too many penalties too.
I don't know how Chase didn't knock that on though? It looked obvious to me - even the couple of Cas fans near me thought so.

| Did enough to win the game. Can't understand why he took Cain off the field. We lacked direction from dummy half as soon as he went off because Heath went to SH.
Lynch overused as Ewwen says. Halley, Hall and Kop were garbage as usual, Nero at fault for Cas first try. Left side a massive problem and IMO it's not the winger at fault mostly, all though having a useless heap doesn't really help.
Good efforts from the usual suspects, let down by the usual suspects.
Cant understand why nobody went for a drop with the scores tied and clock winding to an end.

| Our Leader's words of wisdom!
McNamara said: "I was disappointed with both tries as we could have done a whole lot more.
"Michael has come back from injury and come up with a couple of quality finishes."
The Bulls are enduring a frustrating spell with players sidelined through injury and consistency is sadly lacking.
"We would have liked to push on today but every time we did that we gave away a penalty and were punished," said McNamara, whose side scored through Elliott Whitehead, Steve Menzies, Brett Kearney and Michael Platt.
"We got some great opportunities and didn't quite take them. There was maybe a bit of edginess about us, but there didn't need to be.
"Without being really fluent I thought we did enough to win the game, but I must say Castleford did extremely well to hold on to the ball.
"We weren't at our best but we're still in the mix for the top eight.
"It's our job to get ourselves out of this lull."
Perhaps another letter to Stuart Cummings would help!
