Assume deadline is the end of this month for new recruits?

Sounded like Noble was still hopeful of some new bodies in the last interview.

I think the SL deadline date is 1st August so assume the Championship is the same. 


We are going to need some incoming bodies if we want to seriously challenge for the play off final. We just don't seem good enough at the minute when it comes to those big moments in games.

We didn’t replace Frank. So we’ve still got his part of the preseason budget to use. 
I think the Friday games are increasing the mid season income, so that money may be available also.

Fenton Roger on 2 week loan. Should add some good forward to the pack. Need some permanent signings though as well.

Huddersfield have announced Connor Carr joining us on loan for two weeks.

Wouldn't be surprised to see those two join us permanently. 


But still, poor we've found ourselves scrambling around for two week loans again. 

Carr is a decent player so pretty happy with that.   Rogers (when fit) is as good (if not better) than any of our props so that's a good addition too.   


Both would make excellent permanent additions.

7 injuries or HIA means we need 3 loan players. More of an indication of where our academy is rather than short-sightedness in squad composition, remembering we’re in the championship with a tight budget. 

Sounds like the Salford circus continues this week with players refusing to play this week.

I don't watch a huge amount of SL but surely both would add some danger to our attack. Although with no promise of SL, it might be difficult to attract current SL players.

We need some competition in the outside backs.   Ryan would certainly be a useful signing.  He can get in at the corner, has great hands and is really experienced now.   Obvs he'd be wanting to stay fully professional so I expect we'd be behind SL clubs wanting him.  


Nikorima would also be an upgrade but we could do with offloading someone if we brought him in since he wouldn't be cheap - also far more likely to stay in SL.
