Pretty poor first half.  Not taken our chances and Toulouse could've had more.

Can't believe how bad were in thag half. We look knackard. Hallas to be fair providing some much needed energy. Bombed a few opportunities as well. No idea why Lilley kicked late in the half when all he needed to do was pass it. 


Taufua is driving me insane. You'd have thought in this game of all games he'd cut out the late shots. Twice he was fortunate not to be penalised for a late shot. 

Ten points behind at half time, Toulouse have finished their tries well, we will have a strong wind behind us second half, so should have better field position. Not out of this yet.

Our defence is all over the place, no organisation. Meadows poor again.

Floodgates have opened, this could get really ugly. We don't seem to be able to cope with the wide pitch.

Shocking performance.   All the usual failings but worse than ever.  Couldn't do anything right.  Errors, poor discipline, soft defence, lacking go forward without Scurr.

It was always going to be a test, but that was a complete capitulation. Our first real challenge of the season, and we absolutely blew it. The basics of rugby league—composure, discipline, and sticking to fundamentals—went out the window. We looked lost, got bullied all over the park, and never found a way to turn things around.


If we’re being honest, the signs were there. The second half performance against Hunslet and Batley were nowhere near good enough, and this felt like it had been coming. That said, every team has an off day, and hopefully, this was just a minor blip. A massive game next week in the cup—time to show some fight and prove this was just a one-off.


Noble’s tenure has been largely positive so far, and this is our first truly poor performance under him. Let’s see how we respond.

Yes a poor performance and a bad defeat, worst point for me was we lost the collision which is unlike us from the start of the season.
Having said that Toulouse are full time, we are mainly part time. That makes a massive difference and Wakey only lost one game last season away to Toulouse and no one remembers that now they are in super league. 

Nip and tuck right up until kick off I thought.


Tackle one to Okunbor. Tackle two to Tafua, Tackle 3 to 5 ineffectual forward drives. And repeat. I thought that was really dreadful and a weird lack of any creative intent.
