| Would be very disappointed if we let Myers’s leave, he’s a top prospect in my eyes.
He’s not going to get much game time at Wakefield, would end up back in the championship in dual reg.

| I suspect most players have superleague type clauses i.e. if the opportunity arises they can speak to interested superleague clubs if they want to. So how much Bradford can do to keep Myers, I'm not sure. Would we get some kind of transfer fee if he goes? I'm inclined to agree that he'd end up on dual reg if he goes.

| Unless he signs a new contract they’ll have have to let him go. If he’s offered a new one and doesn’t sign it then he’s off at the end of 2025

| It’s the difference between going Fulltime and testing himself and maximising his development while he’s still young, and not, I suppose. If he gets an offer that compensates for his job, then he’d need to consider it.

| So it depends what Wakey or anyone else can offer financially and developmentally.

| It's always bittersweet when a young homegrown player moves on to a team in a higher league. This is part of the reality of being a part-time team—when you nurture talent, it's inevitable that some players will outgrow the level of competition we can provide. While we would love to keep our best players, we also understand and respect their ambitions to challenge themselves at the highest levels.
I assume the club do not want him to walk for nothing at the end of the season so they’re cashing their chips now.
