Agreed, it does seem perverse to not pay ground support workers, when the first team squads of the Premier League are paid the eyewatering amounts reported on websites like this:

When viewed against such obscene amounts of remuneration, it puts the level of our sport into context - skint !
Which is all the more reason why we should applaud the guys who weekly smash their bodies to pieces to provide us with sporting entertainment.
Christmas rant over, The Grinch wishes everyone on the forum a Merry Christmas and a successful 2024 to whatever team you may support
