Don’t understand Cougars this year. Built a solid mid-table Champ side. Got rid of Lovegrove then got rid of all the players who were doing damage to sides.

Such poor management.

What a performance from our boys though. Gaskell was unplayable. Wallace had a fantastic game. The outside backs were all class. Thought Blackmore did exactly what we missed at Cougar Park and made yards in get out sets.

All in all class. And still got Baldy, Holmes and Baitieri to come back.

So was this the highest attendance in the Championship this year?

Its was a local 'journalist' that announced 5500 tickets sold.
I was genuinely shocked it was less than that figure as the 'journalist' has a fantasic reputation for providing accurate information.......

To be fair it was actually the club who tweeted the 5500k figure. Unless the did a typo and meant 4500k.

I never pay much attention to the local "journalist" /mouthpiece.
