| We've got absolutely nothing to play for now so just give as many academy players some first team run out's and see what they're capable of. Surely they want to get in some good games to hopefully get promoted to first team next season?

| Blooding some of the rising academy players could also create the smallest flicker of excitement for the fans after a dreadful campaign. I’d definitely be more interested in seeing some of the young lads given an opportunity to show off their skills over the same old rubbish we’ve been served up this year.

| Quote Peter Goddard="Peter Goddard"I would like to see Hall somewhere in the 17. I know he has not impressed (then again who has?) But he has pace and good feet. Nothing to lose.'"
Elliot Hall is playing for Midland Hurricanes
I think we may have seen the last of him a Bulls shirt
Dewsbury played him once and dropped him.

| Looks as if Hall was signed more in hope than expectation of filing Pickersgill's boots.
We should definitely pick the academy lads if we're down both halfbacks and lacking a fullback. Nothing to lose.

| Indeed. Looking back he did make some poor signings. The lack of a decent replacement fullback has hurt us this year. It's one of the most important positions on the field.

Ooh dont say that. I was shot down by many on here at the start of the year for saying Hall was a poor signing and was in no way fit to replace Pickersgill. But what did i know????

| Some signings you take on trust. I'd not seen Hall so couldn't comment. When he wasn't being picked from the start and we seemed to chop and change the fullback it was increasingly clear we hadn't got a proper replacement.

| I thought Hall didn’t get much of a chance to be honest. But then again, I don't see him everyday in training.
Flanagan Jr has to start at fullback for the rest of the season. Lawford has to at least start on Sunday with Patton to get a game in before he’s halfback for the year.
Camden should be on the bench for me, and brought on later. Maybe start next week alongside Lawford when Patton is out.

You were also John Kear's chief defender iirc.
