| This is starting to sound a bit like the end of 2016 when Green was on his way. Then players didn't get paid and the rest is history

| Quote Peter Goddard="Peter Goddard"Out of the regular playing players I would keep:
Scott
Patton
Gill
Lilley
England
Wallace
Scurr
Doyle
Butler
Flanagan Jr
The rest can go for me.'"
Id agree with all of these barring Lilley.
Id also add Jowett, Millar as 2 id definately keep.
Jury still out for me on 1 or 2. Patten and Burton spring to mind.
Id be interested to know the contact situationof the lads weve had on loan this year. Johnson and Oconnor have new deals, not sure about Mustapha and Tindall. I presume Holroyd has. Ive no idea regarding Walters or Gannon. Buttler i believe will be with us next year all.

| I think Patten playing behind a decent pack would be much better and he is a great goalkicker.

I don't think it's just the pack. You look at the centres, second rowers and wingers, none of them are really strike players. The likes of Kear, Murphy, England, Hallas, Evans, they're all grafters but none of them will be getting 10+ tries a year. Throw in the fact we've effectively no FB.

Patton worked well with Gill and Scott (when fit) down that left hand side.

| Listening to MD's post match interview and looking at the body language it doesn't look very good does it. We're in a massive hole and it will take a lot of work to get out of it. I didn't realise he was operating without an assistant and is coaching the reserves as well as the 1st team. Seems he has been given a similar budget for 2023 as he has for this year but he did allude to a "lot of things going on" which never bodes well. Shades of 2016. I guess if players weren't being paid we'd soon hear about it.
We really could do without playing Fax next but if we can put in a decent performance it might help us turn the corner. Shame London beat them as it'll remove any complacency they may have had.

Playing Fax at the Summer Bash is a nightmare tbh.
I saw a post (on here I think) when Kear was sacked saying changing coach was like rearranging the deck chairs on the titanic. I don't know about that its more like the Mary Celeste

| I think the turnaround would need to be nothing short of miraculous to be anything other than an absolute hammering by Halifax.
I wonder, have Bradford ever dismissed two coaches in a season? I feel for MD he has been given an almost impossible task but I am struggling to see where he turns this season around to make it feel like we've turned a corner and bring some hope for 2023.

We might squeeze past Workington and possibly Whitehaven who are both awful - especially Worky
Beyond that, it's difficult to see where another win is going to come from.

| think the talk of 2016 probably isn't helpful. I don't buy it for the sole purpose that why would Wood after 2 years, put himself through fh a fans forum right before we got bust

| Listening carefully to MD during the after match interview, he said "there's a lot going on behind the scenes at the club - you can ask players not to read into it as many times as you want, but they're human beings and they do - on the back of that confidence is low". Really says most of what some have suspected for a while now. Doesn't sound too good for the future, or am I reading too much into MD's words ?
