That being said we hung in there and turned it on in the end. Good to see Scurr Hall and Kibula get a run out. Gill was class again and gets better and better attacking wise.
Looks like Matty Dawson is going to be out a while with a broken jaw. Rhys Evans also left the field presumably injured. Hopefully Jordan is back next week pushing Kear to the wing.

I guess you can only beat what is in front of you, but I remain unconvinced until we put a run of performances together. Sunday we were only marginally better than a very weak looking London side (bar the final 15mins when they just totally imploded). Play like that against Batley and we will be one from four.
On the positive notes, Gill looks one hell of a player in attack and Patten's kicking game was in good shape. If we can get Lilley alongside him for a prolonged period, then we might be ok.
