| Good idea for a thread, here's my effort off the top of my head:
Dave Watson - like a jack in the box
Phil Ford - the rubberman - could score from anywhere
Ellery Hanley - nuff said.
Paul Newlove - could win a game on his own.
Lesley Vainikolo - Best winger I've seen in a Bradford jersey
Henry Paul - Incredibly skilful - ball on a string
Robbie Paul - Robbie 96-2002 could win a match on his own
Stuart Fielden - fearless
James Lowes - so creative
Paul Anderson - those runs!
Paul Medley - could score from inside his own half
Karl Fairbank - had it all and scared the opposition
Sam Burgess - those big hits
Mentions too for David Solomona, Leon Pryce, Tevita Vaikona and Ethan Ryan.

| i think i have to stick in phil ford prior to the gb tour to oz .... never knew what he was going to do but danced superbly. that season, remember going to wheldon rd (first game of the season i think) and the murmurs were he signed else where .. i was sick.
dave barends also got me excited, just hugged the touchline and flew down the wing ....
huge shout to medders .... number of times i saw the guy take the ball 20 out then veer right to that that touchline and score (exciting) and his best game against wakey where he smashed everthing at dummy half in defence and still scored 4 tries (without a doubt in my mind the most stand out MoM performance ive seen)
i think anderson is another .... we look at wingers screeching down the touch line or a newlove breaking from deep (very talented centre but didnt think he was a wingers centre) ... but i think most of the time we look at the aggression in the forwards. nothing rises the crowd more when a prop/second row rips into the defense or smash in defense (for excitment these guys get hugely overlooked). anderson actullay had a good turn of pace for a big man (and for those who were there) THEE hand off ... priceless
sorry have to edit ... concrete, say no more

| Some great names mentioned
Ill throw Menzies, Hitchcox and Sammuts names in to the mix as ones that havnt yet been mentioned
Menzies still had all the skills when he came over.
Sammut one of the most off the cuff players ive seen in 30 years
Jy was outstanding for us could score from anywhere all be it in a poor league
3 players you would certainly describe as entertainers

| So many amazing players, so much entertainment its hard to choose.
I want to give a shout out (just because he's a bit of an unsung hero and just because I can) to Danny Peacock. Maybe it's just because that team were at the start of our wonderful years that it comes to mind. He'd burst through time and time again. Probably not the pace to go the length of the pitch. But then you had someone like Stuart Spruce as a great attacking and supporting full back to finish it off. I have really fond memories of that team with the penguin etc.
I wonder if it would be fair to categorise Newlove as a talented cock. I hope the mods don't mind me saying. I don't remember anyone else with the same ability to intercept passes and then be off down the pitch. Solomona's ability to offload was astonishing. The defenders knew he was going to do it, but seemingly powerless to stop him. Shame with injuries etc we didn't get the most out of him.
Brimah Kebbie for his cute little airplane celebration. James Lowes entertaining in not only his style of play but for screaming into Mercer's face. I liked that a LOT. Mind you I liked McDermott going utterly bonkers and leathering everyone in possibly the same game? A bit tasty but definitely entertaining.

| Gary Christie. His Olympic gymnastics try celebrations were the best ever seen on a Rugby field and worth the entrance money alone

| I would have George Ambrum instead of Jones on the wing for entertainment value. Not the fastest but couldn't be stopped. Once saw him drag 4 opposition players over the line from 10 yards for a try
