Quote: bullinenemyland "You're really not getting the point are you? The club had no choice but to play the game at 6.15pm.
My point about 6pm kick offs in the past was that 15k people didn't have an issue with it then so why would it be an issue now.
God help us if we do ever get back to SL as there will be at least 3-4 games on a Thursday evening that kick off at 8pm. Folk will literally implode!!!'"
You know if people spoke to you the way you try patronise them you'd soon get an hair up your 4rse...
Anyway, no-one is blaming the club, just as no one is questioning the need to get the games in front of people.
The question was 'Will being on the App impact the attendance?'. The answer was yes and one of the reasons being Sunday night not being kid friendly amongst others.
That turned out to be the case just as it did years ago.
Odsal, 2003 - average was 14,776 on Sunday and 16,031 on Friday. But we played Leeds twice, once on Sunday and once on Friday. Take Leeds out of the equation and you have 14,672 on Sunday and 13,504 on a Friday.
So to Bulls2487's point the RFL really have to choose the games carefully. Move Halifax to 6.15pm and you may offset your losses but Sheffield or London and you're hitting the club hard.
Just because some of us left the kids at home and had to deal with the fall out doesn't make us lesser fans.
