| Quote Greg Florimos Boots="Greg Florimos Boots"Sqad wise that would probably put you in the group of Widnes, Sheffield, and Fax. I think tat is pretty opptomistic when comparing squads. The bottom 2 will be poor this year so Bradford should be fine just having a year to try and steady the ship.'"
That's how I read it when looking at the squads. There's no way in hell top half of the table is possible without some pretty major recruitment. Even 8th seems quite pie in the sky. I would expect to be down there at the bottom, but equally looking at Oldham & Whitehaven's squads, there's nothing in there that makes me think they're going to be anything but bottom 2. Injuries, inspiring coaches etc. could make a difference, but if the game was played on paper (which we all know it isn't), I'd be looking at about 11th or 12th as the most likely placing for us this year. Not gonna encourage many people to attend, but equally if that's what it needs to get the books balanced, it's hard to argue with the policy.

| Agree whay others have said. I don't think we'll get relegated, but there's no way we're going for the play-offs as the championship is such a tough league. There's going to be some very good teams who miss out on the play-offs. Toulouse, London, Leigh, Fev, York, Widnes, Fax.
I think we'll be stronger than teams like Oldham & Whitehaven etc (famous last words) I think we have a decent enough 17 that on its day could beat anyone, but as soon as Injuries bites that's when we're really going to struggle.
On the friendly, I didn't go but I suppose this is the game to have a nightmare (which is what it sounded like) doesn't sound like Kears impressed we've so many friendlies again. Wonder if he'll Send a weaken side to York.

I dont think playing weakend teams in league games and try to pick and choose which games you can win is a very sensible strategy. Need to play the strongest team every week

I think he was picking up on the idea that he said "send ... to York" when the friendly is at Dewsbury.

| Too many faces I didn't recognise, tbh.
I got the impression that it was the same on the field and it's very hard to be cohesive when there are quite a few who clearly don't know their team mates. I thought Nzoungou tried hard, Joe Brown looked confident and good games from Crossley and, until his injury, Barlow. For my money there were too many young new players thrown into what was basically, an already very young side. I guess we got what we asked for but, in defence of JK and the coaching staff, I don't see what else they could have done with all this dual reg stuff being finalised so late. I guess their hands were forced by the circumstances.
Hopefully, after couple of weeks working together on the training pitch, they'll all be on first name terms, at least. If that's how it works on dual reg...

I know it is. But thats at home.
The gentleman was reffering to sending a weakend team TO York which is the second leage game of the season.
What im suggesting, is that you cant pick and chose which league game you play a full stength team in. It needs to be 100% every week even if it is a game we are expected to lose.

Agree with that, and I'm guessing the comment about fielding a weakened team against York was meaning next week, and was simply a typo on the venue.
The point being, next week doesn't matter a jot in the grand scheme of things - I wouldn't be surprised if Kear fields the reserves for that one, given his comments in todays T&A where is clearly annoyed by the schedule of friendlies.
