Was it Gallagher who was getting under Cuthbert son's skin in the second half?
Great entertainment on show today, very fitting for the spectacle I think. Was very sad hearing Rob speak on the Tannoy.
And yes, sign Fielden up . They couldn't deal with him!

| Thought the lads did well in the game, tbh. Hurrelll does those late off-loads against SL, NRL and international opponents so I can't bag the Bulls for getting drawn in. The way the Leeds side backed him up was top class though. As for Rob, well life is just so bloody unfair and I wish him, and his family, all the best.

| As a club I think we restored a lot of pride yesterday. From the club forfeiting gate receipts to players paying into to the stadium to the fans singing Rob's name as he choked up we, thankfully, paid a full and respectful tribute to both Leeds legends.
Call my cynical but I was honestly expecting some one to do something stupid along the way...
What a tribute it would be if we could get off our 4rse and give Rob another chance to see a Bradford v Leeds Super League derby...

I think Gallagher was wearing No 12. On from the start, did big minutes and definitely put himself about. I agree he looks promising.
I wonder if John Kear is planning on trying Liam Kirk out at LF next season. He does fit into the same mould as Mikey Wood, but I'm a bit concerned that our attack might suffer a bit as a result. Not sure I've ever seen him actually pass the ball

I think Kear's style of play doesn't suit a ball handling loose forward otherwise we would have surely seen Minchella being played there more often than he did last year?
From what I saw (which wasn't much in the first half due to the Western Terrace being way too full) I though Gallagher looked a handful and wasn't afraid to mix it with the experienced heads (the battle with Cuthbertson in the second half was a prime example of not taking a step backwards).
Thomas Doyle looks a real prospect for me and I'd like to see him taking one of the two hooking spots more regularly. Maybe when George is back it will be him and Doyle with Hallas reverting to LF?
I've not been as impressed with England as I first thought I would be. I'm not Steve Crossleys biggest fan but I think he outshone him yesterday by quite a bit.
The other young Bulls did themselves proud too although I did feel for Sam Smith after that hit from Leuluai.

| Bradford as a club were special yesterday , from there generous donation , the way the Bulls supporters got behind the event , the respect the players showed and the Bulls legends who took part . If someone had told me a few weeks ago that the South Standers would give Stuart Fielden a standing ovation i would have had them put in a straight Jacket . Good luck to the Bradford organisation and maybe and hopefully sometime soon you will be back in Super League

| Been thinking about this. Did anyone else look at Headingley and think, this would be a much better venue for the Championship Bash than Blackpool?

I can’t lie, we stood on the western terrace and said ‘why isn’t it us playing out of a stadium like this’. That’s a rhetorical question as we all know why really but still it doesn’t make it any easier does it.

To be honest i can't see the Summer Bash here as the club may want to maintain the pitch as Leeds may be playing there on Friday evening and the ground staff would have a lot more work on their hands if you have three days of play. At best you will have a couple of back to back matches being played. If Leeds were playing away then it could be possible but all clubs will have to agree to have the matches being played at Headingley.
