Yep Paul, we can confirm (allegedly) that it is a rumour to which we subscribe, but for legal reasons we cannot at this time comment, but of course the aforementioned may, or may not, happen in due course.
Another rumour is that Mick the Gled may be about to join the Wolfpacks on a two year D/R arrangement. He has after all been seen recently doing the hard yards at Lilley's Fitness. But will he be missed !?

The gent has a large inherited pile, knows very little about League apart from perhaps vaguely remembering that funny little Eddie chap - however at least you can say the Duke has never taken any money out of Rugby League. This is a lot more than you can say for some of the new owners of the Bulls. |

Do you have any robust proof of the above often proffered bold allegation? If so, please send us a Private Message - we don't want to have threats of legal action for defamation made against this excellent forum. Do we?
That said if they (i.e. the RFL, or Nigel) did sue our Barrister would be more than happy to defend the forum pro bono in a public court. Why? Because the likes of Mr Wood could then be rigorously cross examined in front of a truly independent person ... a Judge.
