| Quote DILLIGAF="DILLIGAF"I trust Ross 5000 times more than I trust other "sources". Interesting to see the 600 season tickets mentioned when it's being quoted as 1,200 elsewhere. More bulls hit from the usual suspects?
And again the question of shareholders comes up. This is what I mean when I say the constant smoke & mirrors is putting me right off. If Sawyer owns 24.999999% and the Woods own 33.333333%, that still leaves approx 42% that we're not aware of. So who the F*** owns that?
We've been saying for ages that if they want the fans to buy into things, they need to be absolutely open and honest about the situation. It feels like it's far from open and honest. As usual.'"
The other 42% or so will be still owned by the original sole shareholder: Orcas Rugby.

| Did I not read somewhere that the terms of the lease agreement between BMDC, the RFL and the Bradford Bulls determined that the Bulls or some other incarnation of Bradford Rugby League had to be played at Odsal. At the time the head lease was transferred this was explained as quite a simple process. Wouldn't this mean the RFL are in breach of the lease come the first game of next season? One would have to see the lease to know what consequences would apply?
Similarly, if the lease expired in 2019, wouldn't this constitute a natural break in what I understand is a 3 way agreement, particularly as no RL is going to be played? It would be odd if only one aspect of a 3 way agreement expired. Irrespective leases aren't open ended and at least some conditions must apply.
The devaluing of the lease would support one or both of the above, in which case the freeholder, BMDC could possibly evict the RFL, having fulfilled the requirements of the lease? Yet Chalmers thought the RFL would blink, and they didn't.
Nevertheless, something about this lease seems really odd, and that's before we start getting into conspiracies. Has anyone actually seen it?

That figure is incorrect. The article is factually wrong.

I think you're conflating two separate issues; the lease and the commitment to play at Odsal under the 'Odsal Settlement'.
The lease is, or was, reported to be well in excess of 100 years back in 2000 when the 'settlement' was agreed. If you remember, the club became responsible for maintenance under that agreement and received a large lump sum, from the council, as compensation. Due to receiving the cash the club committed to playing at Odsal until 2019 or a portion of that money would have had to be repaid. The lease remains though, as it was unless any changes were made when the head lease was sold to the RFL. There have not been reports of any changes so I assume there were none.

| The core nesteggers have been frozen out for a week or so. Some of us (inc Charles) are having a weekend away in frozen Greenland and then a few days in chilly Iceland.
We'll check in from time to time, which will please some, yet may p..s off several, including a select few in Birkenshaw and South Crosland.
We remain confident that the Bulls will be on the up, but most likely only after the present lot move on, or after they've thrown us under the 682 bus; the latter sadly being the most likely scenario post the conclusion of the present lot's (purported) asset (and fans cash) stripping exercise.
May we politely suggest that for the time being you tell your friends and family to put off buying a 2020 Bulls' season ticket until the dust settles. If they do decide to be reckless then please recommend to them that they do not hand over cash to the club, or buy a season ticket or or any Bulls' goods using a direct debit.
BFN; as it's late afternoon, we're off to tuck in to some suaasat. Yummy

This is no criticism of Mark.Sawyer but he's given three interviews and said three different things.
Maybe it's best we wait for things to calm down a bit before the full picture materialises.
The main creditor outside of Andrew Chalmers was repaid yesterday.
