Quote: roofaldo2 "The trouble is, there hasn't been anything said by the new owners that is any different to the last 4.
They want the fans to buy in, but don't give them anything to buy in to.
I've seen it quoted around that we've sold 1200 season tickets. If that's true then I doubt many will be surprised if our average gate next year is around 1300 mark because unless there's some serious recruitment, which we can't afford, you're not going to get fans putting their hands in their pockets to buy season tickets'"
Why can we not afford serious recruitment? Or at least define serious recruitment?
That £150k will pay wages & creditors who don't want to go on a repayment plan. Everyone else will probably be paid off over the next year. So, say £360k debt left - over 12 months is an extra £30k per month debt payment.
Selling those players gives us time & makes the debt manageable.
Now down to JK to build a team. Which he can do, just he wasn't expecting to have to 6months ago.
From what Sawyer was saying, our budget is less than last years but still more than Dewsbury, Batley etc. So if we've the 7th/8th best budget in the division, I'm kind of hoping we could finish 7th/8th.
