Quite. I'm prepared to remain around a pathetic fantasist, but I draw the line at indulging a racist.

| Quote Mr Dog="Mr Dog"So, if Kear's claims on player spend from a couple of months ago were true you'll have a bigger budget for 2020 than you did in 2019.......
Although, TBF, £300k sounds a lot for Dewsbury and they've already announced the budget for 2020 will be lower than in 2019 even with the extra income from the Bulls deal (not sure how the same person trying to increase income whilst at the same time actively trying to remove an income stream isn't a conflict of interest
). For comparison Fev's 2019 playing budget was considerably less than £600k.'"
Someone at my amateur club said Batley were spending around £400k and Dewsbury was spending £100k less... however that's only what I've been told. You could be better informed than me.
So potentially looking at about £400-500k???

| Quote DILLIGAF="DILLIGAF"That's because a fair chunk of people playing for Fev over 2019 were paid by Leeds. Don't know how the regular loans (rather than DR) were worked out, but I'd be amazed if Fev were paying full wages for those others borrowed from SL teams too like Holmes & Reynolds.
I know a lot slate DR, but it can help teams with low budgets to be far more competitive than they otherwise would have been.'"
2018 Fev player budget was significantly higher than £600k.

Diskin said in pre match interview at the first Batley game of the season last year that the Bulls were spending 3x what Batley were. I've always assumed Batley were about £200 - £250k and we were in the £600k range for last season. But I'm just going on Diskin's interview/mind games attempt....

It's been dealt with. Everyone who needs a PM has received one. If anyone wants to PM me that's fine but lets make this the last word on the subject on here please. Cheers. PP

| So what's happening at tonight's forum then? Is it just the same thing but for the benefit of the people who couldn't fit in the building last night?

That's what I was wondering. Is there any point?
I'm not buying into it yet. I'll probably end up with a season ticket if we're going to make the start of the season but Nigel's involvement doesn't sit right with me.
He's played us like a fiddle.

Not a solicitor as said previously. SE is closer to the truth.

Thank you. That's good news that we seem to be starting with a clean(ish) slate.

| Sawyer speaks well and doesn’t seem like the sort to be getting involved in silly games. If what he says about Chalmers writing off a substantial debt is true then perhaps he’s had some unfair flack from some quarters?
But this is the Bulls so I guess anything could yet happen!
