Yes, we admit that we were mistaken mate, as we are always wiling to do if we err; which is inevitable given the ever changing nature of this ongoing saga/ farce. We were actually surprised that Dillgaf appeared to refer to 'it' as 'news', and he has apologised which is good of him.
Anyhow, we don't generally read rags as they do not employ serious investigative journalists and sometimes just churn out press releases. That is why to date the RFL have been allowed to get away with so much alleged malpractice over the past 6-7 years and have heaped repeated misery on the Bulls; all for the main part without proper scrutiny and/or an independent investigation.
Back to the present. Regardless of when CB's delaying tactics were announced, the reality is that he and his SCC have surely had sufficient time to get his/ their house in order. It's embarrassing and does not bode too well. At this rate, what are the odds on administration by on or before Xmas ?

No big deal mate, but it would be appreciated if members don't keep drawing unduly negative inferences from our growing number of (and probably too many!) recent posts.
Can we be clear. As said numerous times we hear reasonably good things about CB and would on balance prefer for Chris and his SCC to succeed, but given the recent back story, the apparent 'strings', and things he is unlikely to yet know about sadly we don't expect that to be the case, or that they will be left highly vulnerable to collapse in the short term or a more meaningful takeover.
Moreover, even if CB does a) 'finally' take over after months of apparent DD, and b) help stabilise the Bullship, is mere survival 'success' ? Surely, a club of our stature, potential, and underlying fan base deserve a bit better than that.
Do members think it would be good moving forward for a management team and meaningful investors to finally come on board who are truly free of strings and certain alleged undue external influences? |

Well they've had enough bloody opportunity before now to invest... so what has changed? I honestly don't believe there is anyone with genuine financial clout ready to take the club on. So yes, mere survival and a slow and gradual rebuild is probably what is needed. Unfortunately that was needed 3 years ago and I'm not sure I have enough interest left in the sport to start the process again.

Re AE123/Bulls (2014) - the company was dormant until the name change in July, around the same time as the announcement of the move to Dewsbury. No doubt just a coincidence..... |

Well said Bully, but what a crying shame. We genuinely find your (understandable) dismay upsetting.
BTW, you've made no reference to the influence of the 'strings' and the adverse role that has been played for yonks by uncalled for external influences. We feel that this 'issue' may well get to the core of the mess that we are in, and we fear that CB and his SCC may not in reality be able to adequately free themselves of such constraints. |

| Really depressing to see the (lack of) update in League Express this morning
Someone caught up with Nigel Wood at the World 9s and tried to talk to him about the Bulls, only to receive a curt 'brush off'. When questioned about why Andrew Chalmers was in the Executive box with him, he made some mealy-mouthed comment about Chalmers formerly being involved with the New Zealand International team. Then when asked directly if he could comment on the Bulls, his reply was 'No, not really'. A follow-up question about whether he was involved in the consortium got the reply 'We are here to talk about the World Cup'.
Silence speaks volumes eh Nigel? I note that he certainly didn't deny anything, which he could have done if there is no connection. Looks like there's no smoke without fire. And whilst he's demolishing the buffet bar at a (doubtless all-expenses paid) junket, the Bulls fans and players are left wondering what the hell is happening to our club.
