I don't see any long-term merit in moving to a ground with a 5k capacity. If we managed to shake off our addiction to financial meltdowns we'd outgrow it almost instantly.

The 30 year lease apparently gives them the security to contemplate increasing the capacity from 3500 to 5000. I can't see them wanting to make it bigger still even with FA money. The core tenant just doesn't require it |

Avenue did have aspirations though.
They were wanting to reach the football league not long back but I'm far from sure Horsfall would satisfy the requirements, to be honest, at least not without a fair bit spending on it. Even if they did, there are the on-going problems with off-road car parking and little chance of any on-site.
