| I have to agree that Bullseye is usually spot on the money, I think I've only once ever disagreed with him on anything. If he's feeling so bad about it then I really do fear the worst. Unfortunately if you post any concerns on the Facebook pages you get called a miserable prat by those wearing rose coloured spectacles. I'm dreading Sunday as I really fear it could be our last game.....ever.

Didn't really need all the stuff about what he did in his previous roles did it.
Suppose only actions will ease the tension at the moment. Getting us out of special measures will go a long way to doing that. At least he acknowledged it briefly. But it needs resolving as a matter of urgency.
On the return to Bradford, sounds like he's putting all his eggs in his basket for the council to develop Richard Dunns.

| Chalmers has had a lot of criticism regarding he should of known the true state of Odsal, instead of rambling as you put, I think the below explains this quite well
At the time, an administrator had been appointed, information was unreliable, and a big club looked set to be destroyed.
Odsal Stadium was under a lease to the RFL, and quite frankly it looked old, tired and I had great uncertainty as to the true costs to operate the ageing facility. I refused to sign a sub-lease because of my concerns.
On the special measures subject
I believe this explains it too.
What is possible within 12 months, is to work with the Bradford Council to identify and evaluate available land suitable for an affordable boutique community stadium development in Bradford, in conjunction with our stadium development partner.
The adjacent Richard Dunn site, for example, represents a strong opportunity.
Providing the desire and will exists among Bradford’s political elite.
Elected members of Council need to declare their unequivocal support for this type of strategy, and be accountable for it. It’s time for our city’s leaders to front up and be counted.
The fact is anything is possible if you have the right people having the conversation.
As far as the RFL executive and board are concerned and the Bradford Council, I understand they are angry at my decision to shift the club.
It’s not a decision I ever expected to have forced upon me. It impacts everyone.
The club will work with the RFL to have our new budget and funding approved and to demonstrate why this Dewsbury shift is a rational economic decision.

| Chalmers needs to address the 'special measures' situation urgently. There are many fans who will not buy season tickets if they feel the next season is going to be another wasted year; like the -12 points, or not being able to build a team. This situation needs to be tackled head on and fan's minds need to be put at rest - for heaven's sake even the coach is in the paper saying he doesn't know what is going on. More than ever, the year(s) away from Bradford need to be competitive at the very least or fans will not engage with the move.
I don't want to know about it, fans have no need to "know" the details but we do need to see it sorted. PDQ.

| And I notice Chalmers mentions season ticket sales. As I said a few days ago, proving any sort of budget is reliable when we have no way of knowing our support at Dewsbury is difficult. Unfortunately I don’t see the overwhelming majority rushing out for a season ticket at Dewsbury without an idea of the team taking the field and the uncertainty around the clubs finances and future. We will of course lose some revenue streams from use of the Southbank, so I would guess that leaves Sponsors and central funding as the other main income streams? Is cash flow going to be a problem if ST sales are slow whilst fans hold off to see how this all plays out?
I fully expect we will remain in special measures for some time yet, by that time players will have signed up elsewhere and we will have to fight over whatever scraps are left. So looks to me like we’re in a sticky situation.

| The death knell for me is the part about needing the backing of the council elite.

| What do i know, but to me, we seem to be deep in the mire.
This is what I don't get:
"As far as the RFL executive and board are concerned and the Bradford Council, I understand they are angry at my decision to shift the club."
As we DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY and CANNOT AFFORD HALF A MILL PER YEAR to stay, the choice was entirely the council / RFL's, to come up between them with a deal whereby we only paid a reasonable share of rent/maintenance since we
a) CANNOT pay half a mill
b) do not NEED to pay half a mill
so obviously it was down to them to match the sort of deal we have at Dewsbury.
Dewsbury is bad for us, and may kill us off slowly - but renewing a ruinous lease/maintenance deal is exactly signing your own death warrant.
However Dewsbury as a temporary might be doable - but NOT if the RFL ruin our squad and we end up with a C1 standard P/T decimated squad. So looks like they are screwing us whatever we do.
So they are angry at us for refusing to sign our own death warrant. But placing us in special measures will very rapidly kick us half to death as we can't build the team and will very quickly lose key players if indeed we haven't already - decent spots elsewhere are not growing on trees, if you were a good player and an agent called this week saying "I can get you a spot at X in SL" - what would you do, if not already signed, given the desperately worrying state of play this week? I know what I would do - I'd be down the road. Why would I risk having to look for a job in Dec/January and/or suing RFL/Bulls/Administrators for wages?
I wouldn't want to hear platitudes or assurances - they are worth jacks hit.
