WE might be nearer knowing our future come Sunday. It is Sep 1st or in other words the day after payday for the players and staff.

Here are some of the takeaways from the Pulse radio show:

- The RFL will secure the Odsal site once the game is over on Sunday. Fans have been warned about ripping out seats and taking turf as mementos.

- RFL have capped what we are paying on players wages. This is in place to stop us overspending .

- Club has been in special since late July/early August.

- Widnes are also in special measures and have been for most of the season.

- Every 3 months the Championship clubs are audited. Live data is assessed and any issues are raised and dealt with by the RFL.

2 options to exit special measures:
1. AC provides proof that he can support the club financially going forward.
2. Wait until the end of the season until current contracts expire to reduce wage bill.

- James Green will leave the club at the end of the season. Club unable to offer him a new deal whilst in SM so he's secured a contract elsewhere. Assume other players are taking the same approach.

- Admin and ticketing offices will move to Tong & Dewsbury for 2020.

- Lots of stadium/game day staff will be losing their jobs due to the relocation to Dewsbury.

- No development plans for the Richard Dunn site once it is torn down.

- Players have been told that they will be paid this month. Since AC has been at the helm the players have always been paid. Ethan Ryan confirmed this.

- Ethan Ryan is also concerned the affect of the club moving out of Bradford will have on the junior/amateur RL sides. With the club outside of the city he is questioning whether the younger players have anything to strive for with their being no professional club in the city.

I can see our recruitment being well and truly shafted by this unless AC can provide proof of funds. Moving to a new ground we can only guess what sort of crowds and income we will bring in. I guess ordinarily a club might point to X amount of season tickets already sold as an indicator but I would imagine uptake is fairly slow and will remain so until supporters have an idea how the squad might look. So to me at least we look to be in between a rock and a hard place unless AC can satisfy the RFL which might well entail a bond that he may be unable or reluctant to provide.

Did anyone notice a Facebook page today which basically went along the lines of giving Chalmers a chance as he felt he had little alternative and so far hadn’t done bad from a standing start, but then Ryan’s dad seemed to come on and say something like ‘careful, rose tinted blinkers can cause a crash’. I’ve also felt Keyes’ dad has been disappointed with decision to move unless I’m interpreting comments wrong and then I’ll stand corrected. A little worrying as they might know a little more than us but also rumours both lads might be leaving so maybe they are a little less careful with what they say? Am I reading too much into things due to a lack of any kind of news?

When it comes to Bulls No News/Any News is bad news.

Seconded masively, he has for me been one of the most level headed fans I know. Nevers gets in disagreements and rationalises everything.

Lets be honest that rag has gone down the pits and will change anything! The got me in a slanging match with West Bowling when we beat them this year by changing my words of "Our forwards showed more fight and wanted it more" to their words of "West Bowling have no heart" since that day they havent rung me about Hill since, apart from yesterday when low and behod we play Bowling saturday.

Sorry for the rant back on topic, I personally am extremely uneasy about the situation, for the last couple of years I have been a pay ont he day fan as I was easing my little lad into it, we went to a lot more games last year and he loved it and I was considering season tickets for us this year. I don't use credit cards and aren't prepared to get one just incase the Bulls go pop.

I will be honest I am as worried as Bullseye at this present moment as the lack of any information and the silence is deafening. The fact the RFL could not put a professional statement out speaks volumes for me that the mud slinging is yet to finish before the season

I have to agree that Bullseye is usually spot on the money, I think I've only once ever disagreed with him on anything. If he's feeling so bad about it then I really do fear the worst. Unfortunately if you post any concerns on the Facebook pages you get called a miserable prat by those wearing rose coloured spectacles. I'm dreading Sunday as I really fear it could be our last game.....ever.
