Why? I never said clubs don’t have Facebook? I just said it made me feel sick and sorry for the players who didn’t set out to lose!

My point being that wherever they sign or play they will likely have to deal with criticism on social media. I think it’s very much in the minority of our support base though.

| Odd game. We created about 8 chances I think, but only converted 3. That's down to composure. Usually with our normal defence, that's enough chances for a win.
Along with their discipline letting them down again, we should have been in that game. Should have, could have - this has been our story for longer than this season. Still a problem. Still frustrating.
Leigh also created (themselves) about 8 chances and we gifted them 4 or 5 more with dumb play and they converted 9.
The only silver lining I suppose is we're still 1:1 with Leigh for the season.
Attitude will be a serious focus for this week I think. We need a Leeds level of intensity against Halifax. We need this win to finish the league 2:1 vs Fax.

| Where to start with that game?
I thought in attack we looked ok at times, we created enough chances. It was our inability to take them that was frustrating but this isn’t the first time we’ve seen that this season. We’re one of the least clinical sides in the division – just look at the “points for” column in the table. Kirk’s knock on was abysmal. The other missed chances weren’t much better.
The defence on the other hand was just awful. This has been our strong point this season but since the Fev away match it seems to have gone to pieces. Unfortunately a lot of the misses were down to attitude and there I think is the problem. Against Fev and Leigh players started defending as individuals. This began as early as the first half when Leigh created an overlap despite being a man down. That try down our left in the corner should never be scored. The right side was even worse. I counted at least 4 tries down that side that were almost walk ins. The players on that side need to take a look at themselves.
It’s all very well fancying your chances with the ball in hand but if you aren’t going to bother with defence then what’s the point.
Some players like Grant and Flanagan are L1 standard. Others like Hallas aren’t much better. Some seem to play as if they’re on a training ground. Take Grant’s overall performance, that was a joke, he ought to be ashamed of that. Some players like Hallas and Flanagan seemed to be more intent on niggle and personal battles rather than playing as a team. They lost their focus and it spread to others with the last 10mins being a waste of everyone’s time.

| The problem may be that once we lost in the cup too many appear to have a "season over" attitude. AS for drop in crowds it seems similar. We won't make top 5, won't get relegated. Couple this with the -poor rugby we are playing and the premium prices at the turnstiles make you feel you have better things to do with your money.

| You’d think with 20 players in the squad having contracts that run out this season they’d be trying to win new ones. From yesterday’s performance it looks like some aren’t that bothered. Perhaps they’ve been told they’re not wanted? I expect a few to be shown the door.

Didn't Leeds notify Lilley that he would not be retained because of some deadline or other. Is that the same in the Championship. It could explain a lot all though not many will pick up a contract on yesterday's performance.

Yes it is and its something that tbh I've had at the back of my mind when watching the last 4-5 games. Some have "checked out" already which is a big problem for us, especially if they already have deals lined up elsewhere.
Anyone else remember this happening a few years back with Gaskell, Clough, Clark etc etc???
Craig Harrison seemed to think we have some news awaiting to be revealed which would make fans happy. That can only happen if players are on the way out and with injuries in certain positions, we dont have much option to play those who have no future at the club.
Can't see the rest of the season being much fun with the current attitude.

| Quote RagingBull="RagingBull"Another low turn out from us regarding an away folowing. Thats the least we have taken to leigh since we have had the joys of playing there.

The game being on the Our League App didn't help the attendance. The performance won't have helped future ones. The plan to get 10k for the Fax game looks a bit doubtful now.

| Quote knockonknockon="knockonknockon"first of all mcnally always celebrates his try's in that fashion so nothing new there. bradford are not as good as they think they are and there was none of all this crap when you beat leeds. leigh are a good side and you saw that today by them ramming 50 points up against you. if you think not, when was the last time a team scored 50 against you?'"
What an absolutely risiculous post. You have obviously been on that cess pit facebook before coming on here with that drivel. Leigh do have a good side and that was pointed out from day dot before your top up of former players. The stupid thing for me barring McNally (which is totally understandable) why are all these players who Beaumont right royally shafted going back? Very short memories

| Well you wouldnt have thought we were as much in that game as we were at times given the scoreline. More compsure and the game could have been a lot tighter or maybe even a different result. Ridyard was superb with his field kicking and really made us play out from within our 10 all game. Yet we just stick hopeful bombs up and hope for the best. Keyes kicking game will be massive when back, I know the Keighley reserves are no more than an amateur side but saw more variation in his kicking in that game than our whole team all season.
Also Dalton Grant needs dropping. There must be something about Rickett that Kear sees in training that is holding him back. He is a strong kid with good size and pace, and he scores a lot of try's albeit at reserve level. I am sure the kid is chomping at the bit to play first team and I am sure he would do a cracking job after watcing him a few times at Dudley Hill, especially his game against Wigan last year that the reserves wn. Wigan had a lot with first team experience in and he scored a cracking hat trick.
Lets hope we see a marked improvement this week. We need a win to keep in with having a chance of the 5,
