| Quote Nothus="Nothus"What is there to be nervous about? The game means absolutely nothing.
The prize for winning is an absolute mullering in the semi final, I'm not even sure if it would be that lucrative financially either.
Complete apathy towards today's match, and pretty much the rest of the season tbh
'"
It is hard to disagree with this. Whoever wins will surely get paggered in the semis. Yes, they will get a nice day out and some publicity, but I can't see either team having the slightest of slight chances against any of the other semi-finalists. I know that's maybe not the attitude, but in some ways I would rather get this game out of the way injury free and then concentrate on maybe finishing top 5.

| Time for changes. 3 defeats in a row. We desperately need Ryan back on the wing. We have zero threat out wide (seriously what does Grant offer. Slowest winger in the game) Ryan's attacking threat has completely gone since going to FB. He's not scoring and he's not creating.
Some lazy tackle attempts particualrly in the middle. Crossley once again at fault. Time to drop a few I'm afraid. And sort the goal kicking out. 2 easy kicks missed again.

| think i said in the previous thread .. i would trade the leeds win for league points .... costly loss with an injury to a half where, lets be honest, we arnt creating anything. Roll on next season where i hope we 'create'

| Well played Halifax. They showed more ambition and enterprise in attack. We lacked ideas - we had opportunities to put the game out of sight but looked clueless really. Still an entertaining game.
Good luck to Fax in the semi though.

| How we didn't attack their left edge again and again with Murrell a passenger in defence I'll never know - even my 13 year old could see that, and Kear was out coached by a novice today.
That was poor.

| congrats to fax though ... i wont pain myself looking on their board about how they beat the 'Dulls at Odsalum' ... in essence, they beat a side (just) because they managed better knowing our attack offers nothing. The rest of the season i just hope we 'have a go' throw the ball around more, take risks, and (god forbid) have runners anticipating a line break or even an (insert dirty word) offload.
