He got drawn in, in the bad times as a fan for christ's sake by a man who promised he could save the club he obviously loves. Wonder how many people who slag the bones of him were appreciative of the service he provided on behalf of the club last year?
The thing is all this nonsense has dragged silly stuff into the argument. For me mick was bang right it was an atrocious decision. The ball went behind not one but two defenders to find mini on the outer shoulder, which makes it worse. The defender hit the first runner and dived. There was no chance he could have made a difference in that defence!
Problem is people get frustrated and find exterior things to work at. As much as my issues with Hewer run deeper than professional rugby he was giving the try. How the linesman was in a position to make that call is and was a disgrace.
Fantastic advert for the championship and in a way Widnes have come out of their issues and fighting and making their own luck.
My complete issue is we have signed a squad of nigh on 40 players then people complaining we had a makeshift side. More questions need answering about the players brought in or resigned for me as any moan about injuries cant wash when we have a bigger squad than most super league sides'"
Which guy from BCB? I heard Pete on BBC Radio Leeds at the weekend when I was tuned in to their commentary on the Widnes v Bradford game. He was doing the York v Halifax game so he can’t be that bad if the BBC have taken him on
If you’re referring to Hobbo the Gobbo then I agree and I am glad I no longer have to put up with his clap trap on a Sunday
This is not a reflection on the game which I enjoyed
