To be fair, at least having them run by the RFL (or whoever runs the central database that it refers to) means the guy who does the website/social media can't sod them up like he does most other things (Gareht Carvell will agree).
I do think it would be helpful to have the friendlies listed somewhere quite easily off the homepage though, even if it can't be in the fixtures page. Potentially losing out on ticket sales (or even walk ups) by not advertising them, as people may make other plans not knowing there's a game on those days.
