Have the RFL ever stated how much the loan on which the lease was secured and how much was repaid?
Just in case people have forgotten how the RFL obtained the lease in the first place.

My guess is he doesn’t want to buy it, it is just a way of raising the issue, so as to highlight the significant drop in value in 6 years and perhaps make it necessary for the RFL to justify the write down, before being able to sell at the lower figure.
MC has said he sees it as an investment opportunity- make of that what you will. FWIW he was going to buy BV for GBP 600k but was told not to by WDMC and YorkCourt as they wanted a clear path |

Loan was less than purchase price of odsal as they withheld the loan amount, to repay loan in full, when they bought odsal, which combined with bank taking rest of odsal money to settle overdraft caused admin 1.

It’s worth however much people are willing to pay for it.
The RFL paid £1.25m for it, which then meant bulls owed taxman 20% - £250k
RFL basically converted their secret £900k unsecured loan from 4 months previously (which was the moment the car crash started) into an asset, which would generate income. This basically dug the RFL out of one hole, but dumped them in another one. But it screwed the Bulls completely

Chill out sweet cheeks.
Without knowing what the terms of the lease are I’ve no idea what it’s worth now. The value was clearly inflated to cover the loan that Peter hood took out and couldn’t pay back.
If it’s still the case that we can walk away next year it surely reduces its value as a ground. |
